so I'm having two of my internet friends visit after I've known them for 4 years and have talked near daily with them in that time (in teamspeak mainly). I was surprised when I first asked my mom if they could visit she didn't really seem to care all that much, which I had thought was a good sign since she's normally been a helicopter parent when it comes to friends n shit. and now she said she wants to talk about them, what the fuck am I supposed to tell her????????

It's a surefire way to get candy though.

You're lucky, I was friends with this one guy who I met on a forum years upon years ago, turns out we lived only a few blocks apart, and we thought we were like kilometres upon kilometres apart, we never met :suicide:

Honestly, if you're 18 there's no reason for her to be stopping you. Even if you're younger, I bet you she'd feel comfortable having a guy from your school/college over if you've known him for like a month.
