You don't have to be a good liar if you make it a habit of being extremely honest 99% of the time. When you do that people stop even considering whether you're lying. (Also helps to have specific rules for when you lie. Ie: To spare someone's feelings when they're going to take something badly when they really shouldn't be taking it badly.)

Well yeah, Flash is bloated outdated garbage, but the point I was trying to make is Twitch doesn't have enough of a reason to put in the hours to switch over yet. It's your free choice to not support them, but it's unfair to expect them to have an alternative to Flash ready to go at this point in time.

This is true, but we aren't yet at the point where people actually expect sites to be using HTML5. Once it's prevalent enough that that's the case, the vast majority of popular websites will put in the work to switch.
