It was only a couple months ago though I'm surprised he's doing it annually again. Good for people who had stuff like ask for a temp ban and got perma'd to come back though

Why would the mods be against it?
A forum trying to be the most strict forum and moderated isn't always a 'good' thing.
I'm not going to discuss my ban, however I've been a part of facepunch for almost like 9 years, it was a little unnecessary that I be permabanned when I was a good contributor for that long. Everyone goes through phases, I went through like two that were facepunch related.

Maybe it was just me but KF2 seemed so empty (and still seems really empty). Like it doesn't have nearly the same amount of devoted time to updates as KF1 did. That said KF2 looks amazing if only it didn't get so repetitive. I haven't played it in awhile so they may have done quite a bit of updating but from what I heard they hadn't done nearly as much as they should
