I had a teacher that went through my bag because someone told her that i had my PSP on me. She found it and took her key and scratched up my screen making it impossible to use without headaches.

In my elementary my main teacher made bag checks and when your bag was a little messy she would go ahead and empty it in the front of the class. She did this once to me and I never let it happened again. She also started to make fingernail checks with a pair of scissors and cut every nail that wasn't conforming her and as I started biting my nails because I was nervous like 24/7 she cut them even though they were as short as they could get and made my fingers bleed.
Luckily she died my last year on elementary school.

It's absurd sometimes how elementary school teachers (or just people with power in general) morph into some sort of tyrant. I have the feeling this happens easily in elementary school, because it's always the kid's word versus teacher's word so they know they can get away with a lot of mental/psychological abuse.
