The only spiders that can live outside my house are the large ones (Banana Spiders, etc) because of the large gecko population (I used to breed African House Geckos...) so I don't worry about Black Widow's. I have like several hundred Daddy Long Legs in my bathroom alone, I love the things. I pick them up and handle them a lot, it's pretty cool.

It's the one with the long, thin spindly legs and tiny bodies, like the above daddy longlegs, that freak me the fuck out the most.
I don't know why, arachnophobia is damn annoying but the one spider I have no problem with is the tarantula.
I guess they're more proportional. Like, I guess a dog sized spider wouldn't be too bad if it had the whole puppy dog eyes and behaviour of a dog.
