Fair enough. I think when there's literally nothing you can do to defend yourself other than retaliating, it's condonable. But that's rarely the case.

One time a ton of people started to stomp and kick me while I was down because someone had punched me in the spine and I fell.
Wasn't so bad.
It's the first thing I learnt in karate: You end the fight as quickly and efficiently as possible. Whether that's by running away or by getting them down and finishing with a strike, you don't want to draw it out.
Plus head stomping is just unnecessarily brutal.

I did. Some kid got a swastika carved into the back of their hand with a pocket knife. Don't get all ghetto on us, braaa
i've never stamped on somebodies head, but this one kid came up to me, he started slapping me round the face, so I had no choice other than to get the first punch in or else he'd do it, so I punched him, sent him flying back to the floor and then booted him in the chest and shoulder (i'll admit I was aiming for the head, but only because I was drunk), he then came back after me with a plank of wood ready to hit me with it, I just stood right infront of him and asked him what he was going to do with it and he shut up and put it down. Turns out he got sent to prison for setting a kid on fire, he fucking deserved it.
