Then clicked on the "My step mum is a whore" instead. :\
20th anniversary of the fall of the wall is also my birthday :v: also the death penalty was totally abolished on that day, fuck yeah
Anyways, for me, the concept of "furries" isn't just the pornography. It's something much more, the idea of another sentience, born of the same world, yet not human. It's an intriguing concept that's present in sci-fi/fantasy fiction. For example, the Felan race portrayed in my Hublanders Saga were created from the DNA of felines, with the essence of humankind added to the chromosomal cocktail that is their genetics to give them humanoid physiology and sentience. Grown in incubation tanks, and programmed artificially with personality, speciality and a randomly generated name, the first generation was created for one purpose: to purge the world of the remnants of the Combine. But once the Liberation War had ended, and the last bastion of the Combine was purged of their dark taint, they were given new purpose, granted by their now-deified leader, Gordon Freeman. Their new purpose was as human as the species they were bred to save the world for: to go forth and multiply, and live life as it was meant to be. Even living out of their native habitat of the battlefield, they worshipped their lord with vast reverence and fervour. All in all, I designed the Felans to be portrayed as brave fighters (mostly), and defenders of freedom, the divine aspect that their Lord stood for. I also recently added in an instinctive fear to further characterise them. Like the felines their DNA was partially-derived from, they have a fear of certain supernatural things, such as ghosts, and most importantly, the undead. In later days, during the era that MJ12 held a cold dominance over the world, certain vampires from the dimension where Nosgoth (the main setting of the Legacy of Kain video-games) resided where sent to Hub at the behest of a mysterious entity known only as Hraoug-Na'an (not the Elder God, but equal in power), to set the stage for the initiation of a new age (which later results in Kain's new empire). These vampires, including Vorador, Janos Audron, and later Kain himself, used their "curse" to raise the deceased as a new generation of vampires to act as agents against MJ12. Despite the noble aspirations of the Vampires, and the similarities between the causes they fought for, the Felans felt instinctively uneasy and fearful of their undead "compatriots". Even after both sides had succeeded at defeating MJ12, they both still harboured their fears and disdains for each other. The death of Gordon Freeman, executed out of sheer vengeful rage by his "prodigal son" Adam Freeman due to Gordon's refusal to ressurect Adam's beloved Diane, further strengthened the paranoia to levels akin to the East-West hatreds during the Cold War. Unlike most of his kind, he did not fear his undead allies, but only in small "congregations". It was this "courage of the damned", as well as his patricide/deicide, that earned him the focus of the collective hatred of his species, who demonized him for his actions. (The events that transpired in the telling of Adam's backstory in the story bit concerning Erika's briefcase recovery were actually part of an altered timeline that occurs much later on in the story). Over the course of the story, Adam searches for redemption for his past crimes, which his best friend Damien eagerly aids him in, believing that everyone, even those who murdered their gods, deserves a second chance. Slowly but surely, he starts to find redemption, even finding justification for his dark deeds upon the discovery of how Gordon Freeman had indeed been possessed by a malevolent entity (*cough*Ulyaoth*cough*) mere hours before he returned to Borealis, which intended to rewrite Adam's intended destiny. But returning to the subject of the unease between the Felans and the Vampires, the assassination of Gordon Freeman's body caused both sides to become violently opposed to each other. Even though the Freeman's spirit, tainted by it's possession at the hands of the boundless evil, was granted a new vessel to inhabit, it did nothing to blunt his/it's suspicions of the Vampires' manipulation of his prodigal son/it's instrument of destiny. Both sides, the Freemanic Order and the Imperium of Kain, became locked in conflict, though the Imperium were more reserved in their methods, and proposed a less-chaotic form of warfare, so to not plunge civilization into total chaos. This spawned the new "Corporate Conflicts", with the Imperium controlling RED, whilst the Order claimed BLU. To settle their differences, each side would secretly manipulate their respective corporations for control of the unclaimed territories of the world, both striving to bring the planet under their banner, as well as the elimination of the other side. To summarise, I designed the Felans as a warrior species, instinctively fearful of the undead, and religiously devoted to their lord even in death. Not to forget the events that lead up to the current conflicts in the present part of the story's history (turn-of-the-decade 2040's), as well as the betrayal of Adam, and his subsequent betrayal of his own people, plus his quest to redeem himself of the wrongs that he had commited and had committed unto him prior... Yep, another page-stretcher. Not as long as usual, but still a tad long.
Twilight is on next saturday... I might watch it to see why everyones sayig it's shit.
Twilight isn't really shit as such. I mean, the books are really really really badly written cheese, but some people enjoy that. Not everyone wants to read high literature 24/7 and they just need to let their brain mellow in a bath of word porn, as it were. What's wrong with Twilight is the fact that it's worshipped as the best book of the 21st century by some people :\ also it contains tons of hidden mormon propaganda and the vampire dude is an incredibly creepy stalker, which is portrayed as romantic for some reason not a good message to send to teens imo
lololol
