Man you must be old. 1982 trailer? I was born in 1993.
I don't have nightmares or at least I don't remember any of them. I've never been woken up by a dream either. I'm a pretty sound sleeper.

If you're Scandinavian you can probably relate.
The Aldwych station in Tomb Raider 3. Anyone who's been down the tunnels there will know what I mean.

The Tolworth Tower in south London always terrified me, especially when driving past it at night.

The ending of the "Volcano" episode of Gogs. Seeing the family there crying with no way out of the volcano was absolutely terrifying.

These businessmen from the music video to High Hopes. They were like British versions of Slenderman :gonk:
There's only one thought that still plagues me today.
[sp]What if you were raised in a test tube somewhere, or an orphan or from a different family, and when you wake up in the morning you've had false memories and knowledge implanted in you? There's no way of telling, and it could happen every night. Pure paranoia fuel.[/sp]
When i was very young.. and watched spongbob this motherfucker for some reason

Wow, that's fucking odd. I once dreamed the same thing would happen to me and my family. When I woke up I was still crying rivers.
Oh, and I haven't seen Gogs, ever.
It's pretty weird imo how a fucking dream can make you cry so bad when you wake up. No idea how that works... Silly dreams, you confuse me.
A TV-series called goosebumps.
I fucking nostalgia'd right there, the episodes were based on kid's books. I read a few of them too.

I can't say I have had any nightmares but when I saw the alien movies I could not sleep even with the lights on.
Whenever I shut my eyes all I saw was them staring back at me. I could sleep the other day thanks to my sleep deprivation.
I still remember my first screamer. Pissed my pants, kept jumping because I was afraid it would grab me from beneath and still had nightmares for years.

I'm still too paranoid to browse through random/suspicious youtube videos.

Ahh, as a child I was fascinated and scared of Buka/Hufsa/The Groke. Also, Moomin books are still fun to read. :v:

This thing gave me night terrors for the first 10 years of my life.
Not Really Giving me Nightmares, But the Black Arms from Shadow the Hedgehog Really Creeped me out, Especially Doom's Eye. *Shivers*
Pretty much anything that came around corners.
Monkeys.

Disturbing as it is, I love the soundtrack. Trevor Jones was perfect, plus it's where he got his start.
EDIT: Oh wow, the thumbnail for the vid I posted is the same picture you posted. :v:

Jen and Kira go off the deep end of the Uncanny Valley though.
Ok, you wanna know what gave me nightmares as a kid, eh?

Yes, seriously, this gave me nightmares, but I always watched it. Favorite seasons are 1, 2 and 3.
Nightmares mostly consisted of the engines crashing into eachothers... :downs:

This game. It was really the first game I played with anything really dark/scary in it and it really freaked me out. Every other level consists of an underground ruin with a bunch of tight enclosed hallways, very limited visibility, and enemies that all look considerably like skeletons and they all either have more powerful weapons, or really startling means of attack (and one or two with both). I remember sometimes when I'd play my brother (whose several years younger than me) would watch and to this day he's still afraid of his own shadow. And yet I still love the game, and still dread going down into those ruins.

My sisters were the ones that showed it to me. They were like ''Hey Marouan come check this shit out it's so awesome hahaha!''. A video of credits rolling up on the screen, some sad music. And then suddenly ''WAAAAAAAAAAH WAKJHSDJKAHSDA''

Psh, Aliens (and Predator) didn't scare me, I was a big AvP fan when I was a kid. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, though.
I still get paranoid when I close my eyes in an empty room while it's dark.
Damn, I see someone already talked about Thomas the Tank Engine.
Well the show didn't scare me. What did scare me though, is HENRY.

That purple thing is damn creepy looking.
I saw some show talking about the whole "buried alive, fingernail scratches on the coffin door" thing, and I had dreams that someone was trying to scratch its way through my floor to get me.
