Fucking hell, thought about playing CSGO this morning, I get grouped up with a team full of Polish people (Poles?) and they ONLY speak Polish.
God damn, looking for jobs is so stressful because everywhere requires experience, and the jobs that don't require experience aren't the kind of experience needed
it's just a catch-22 to make people go to college which is honestly the last thing I need to do right now

I would say so but if I didn't have these courses I'm currently taking atm in college there's no way in hell I could be prepared for my future career. Unlike High School the stuff I learn in my major (outside of basics obv.) is about as relevant as it can get.
Plus it leads to internships / networking which help too

When I started playing last week, I was silver 3. After I fought my way up to nova master, I started to realize how much stuff goes wrong in silver. I just saw all the differences to nova ranks. I am not sure if i have to play a lot different to get placed in silver 1 instead of 3, because the difference is just so minimal in my eyes.
I am currious on how I will look back at my time as nova player. I am pretty sure higher ranks (above nova) dont consider nova 3 or master better than 1 or 2, while I myself see the little differences.

Okay, so, every night for the past week or two, around 4, there's a knock at my window. It's on the first floor, so, yeah. It's not like the wind either, because it sounds like two hard knocks every night. It terrifies the piss out of me to hear, because I never hear it at any other time. Since my bed is right next to this window and curtains are covering it I've never exactly been able to see what is causing the knocks, but I feel that one day I'll actually quickly uncover the curtains just to see some fucking lunatic staring back at me.

I'm feeling pretty livid at the moment.
Few things of note:
The window is recently 'busted'. There's a perfectly circular 0.4m~ diameter cut in the window that wasn't there a few days ago. I'm not sure about you but I don't think windows just magically obtain holes like that.
The knock occurs at times anywhere from 3:50 to 4:00. Only twice, in a not-so rapid succession. Only once per night.
The curtains have started to shuffle recently as well, not due to wind or anything(y'doofus they're inside how can the wind affect them)
