that does remind me though, I remember when I first got that same skateboard I was about 12 years old, I took it out and shot a short "skate" film for our IT class. Being a 12 year old with a camera and not very much of a skater, It turned out fucking terrible
Me and a few of my friends were going around my computer the other day and stumbled across a old clip from that video, it was so anti climatic we were all in fits of laughter
I'll have to find it and upload it to my youtube at some point, it was so terrible

Different means different, and when the old is stale and done 3 times across 3 games, putting it in a new environment is a fresh of breath air.
The animatronics are properly terrifying now; nightmarish, sharp, gritty characters like that don't belong in a cozy suburban home, and that makes it all the creepier.
