I posted this in the other thread, might be useful here too
If anyone wants to put lights in their avatar, here's how.
First, save this image [url]http://www.nephi.utah.gov/Christmas_lights.png[/url]
Second, open it in photoshop/image editing program. Copy the red orange and blue lights onto your avatar.
Transform (ctrl-t in photoshop) it to fit the avatar size. Make sure it's on a separate layer from the avatar itself.
Change the hue (ctrl-u in ps) of the first and last bulb to a color of your choice, must be the same color, so you can't change them both at the same time. Change hue for the middle bulb.
Save the avatar, preferably with 1 in it's name. Now change the hue of the 1st and 3rd bulb to the color of the middle bulb, (ie, if the middle bulb was blue and the outsides were red, you would change the outsides to blue) and then change the hue of the middle bulb to the color of the 1st and 3rd. Save it with the same file name as the first avatar, only with 2 at the end.
Then, download [url=https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5519]APNG edit for firefox (only)[/url], and put the two frames together at a delay of 500 ms. Save it and then upload it to FP/ any other forum!
I hope you got it working, I don't have time to take pictures, so I guess you're gonna have to stick with my text.
