When Modern Warfare 3 comes out, will we all just say "BLACK OPS SUCKS"? - General

I thought Blops was the most balanced COD yet.

CoD 2 was definitely the only one that I could consider really fun. All the rest is just over-hyped crap. I'd rather play Bad Company 2 than waste my money on black ops. No offence to any hardcore CoD fans out there.

I think Black Ops sucks even more than MW2.

Everyone was complaining about how MW2 wasn't unbalanced, and when a game that is fairly balanced comes out, everyone doesn't want to play it.

All cods suck ass, they are cod games. Call of duty blackops was my First and LAST cod purchase. Not looking forward to "Call of duty: Connection Warfare 3- Dialupfags" i will NOT buy that game. i would ask for it for a gift. I find blackops to have its fun moments, and less rage moments than mw2 had so i probably wont say that blackops sucks. unless mw3 has some insane networking shit so i never lag

I think Black Ops is a mediocre game anyway. So yes.

I loved the Black Ops singleplayer campaign. The multiplayer part is alright, but the community sucks horse shit.

Call of Duty hasn't been good since Modern Warfare 1.

All the modern COD games are 80% of cutscenes, 10% combat and 10% talk anyway.

CoD 4 was damn near perfect. Only problems were the respawn system, grenade spam, melee, and occasionally hit detection or lag. MW 2 failed to fix those few problems. Instead, MW 2 just added more of its own.

"Modern Warfare" is the main selling point for Call Of Duty. If they release another one that isn't set in modern times, I doubt it will sell AS WELL as Modern Warfare. Black Ops sold so well because it was in the wake of MW2 which it seemed that everyone loved. I thought it was...OK I guess, but the multiplayer was pretty fun at times, I hate to admit.

black ops isn't nearly as addicting as mw2

You see there is a lot of confusion in this thread. Many people are talking about Single player, whereas some people are thinking Multiplayer, and some Zombies etc.

Black Ops singleplayer was mediocre at best. I felt as if I was drudging through some shit mess of ugly textures, bad voice acting, terrible plot and unenjoyable gameplay. I beat the campaign, sure, but I only wanted the achievement points because I'm a completionist. After I beat the singleplayer, I tried my hand at the multiplayer, which wasn't much better. "CUSTOMIZE EVERYTHING!!!!" was apparently its main selling point, but the only things I could customize were some stupid fucking facepaint, my gun camo, and a waste of time gun spray of some sort. Then I realized that not only was I restricted to a certain amount of guns by level, but I also had to purchase them with in-game currency. Fuck that. So after I had played for approximately three hours to get enough money and up enough levels to purchase a new gun and customize it properly, I try my hand in multiplayer yet again, only to find that the starter weapons are actually better than the later weapons. In short, Black Ops was terrible and pales in comparison to even MW2.

Woah, as much as I loved hopping on the bandwagon and hating MW2, I'm not with anyone when they say Black Ops sucked. I have a blast playing it, but that's because it was so much better than MW2 that I was just happy for a better game. It's fun guys, don't instantly hate it. Although MP spawns piss me off.

i hated Black Ops and am not too happy about Modern Warfare 2, but if the next one is anything like COD4 then it will be amazing !!!

I'm going to buy Modern Warfare 3. Black Ops was okay, but the Campaign was lacking, and the Multiplayer felt nerf'd. Zombies was really the only benefit of Black Ops. Modern Warfare 2 was pretty great, and the Campaign has major replay value. The multiplayer, albeit unbalanced, was quite fun, and Spec Ops was a good time waster.

Black Ops was well done and everything but it didn't got me interested. MW3 will be the same. I'm not even going to buy it. Activision is just a bunch of greedy fuckers anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if MW3 cost $79, even after two years.

I swear...have any of you played a CoD before 4? Original + United Offensive Expansion = Best CoD ever, no competition.

I don't really see why people rate dumb when people say they like the recent CoD games either rate disagree or informative(better yet nothing) no need to rate dumb unless they go all apeshit crazy or something like that
