If the power had been out any longer then 90% of the shit in the fridge would have started going bad. We stuffed most of the important stuff in the freezer though where it would survive longer.

For a while my computer offered the option for 1600x1200 resolution but when I restarted it's gone. Any way to fix that? I liked it.

If you installed a new video card driver, but didn't restart when it asked, that can happen. Fixes itself after a reboot.
