I was just wondering how a superhero would affect the entertainment industry on the planet. Think about it. Every time a book or a movie or a video game is made about, say, an alien invasion, they would either have to explain why superman isn't capable of saving mankind, set the story in a period where that superhero doesn't exist, or create an alternate universe where that superhero doesn't exist. It would automatically make tons of stories shit because they can't explain the huge plot hole that is the superhero himself.
