I played WoW for about a month :) Got a char to level 50.
I can't stand WoW's gargantuan amounts of grinding
Haha, what grinding? Seriously, I keep hearing this complaint but there really hasn't been any for a year or so now, so if you'd like to elaborate :allears:

City of Heroes was mostly "GO HERE, KILL THIS GROUP OF ENEMIES IN SAID BUILDING THAT LOOKS LIKE EVERY OTHER BUILDING YOU'VE ENTERED SO FAR". I mean I get that old world content sucks, but saying the entire game is like that is just wrong.

Beside making leveling up easier
You talod that leveling up today is easier, with these heirloons and shit But what they do, after all? Beside making leveling up easier
They're items that get better as you level up. They're also more powerful than the rest of the gear at that level.

The drop rates are so high and they drastically lowered the amount of exp to level up, you get a mount at level 20. At launch? It was a grind. Now? Not at all.
Actually that video is referring to scorch vs. fireball in a raid setting :eng101:
Ah yes.
Oh you guys play WoW now :)?
I don't play WoW anymore, I hate WOTLK. I miss my level 22 dwarf paladin :crying:
the whole point of a game is to be fun, right? and WoW just isn't, sorry
I subscribed to WoW for a month and only played for 12 days, I honestly can't stand it after trying it so many times. Until the day City of Heroes fills up again, I will be bereft of MMO goodness. :eng99: oh wait, guild wars
Ahahaha, Guild Wars, yeah right. It's all a bunch of title-grinding jackasses and runners that charge huge amounts of money now. "GIB 500 PLATINUM AND I WILL RUN JOO TWO LYUN'S ARCH!!!11!" "Oh, you mean your Guild Hall doesn't Smell of Rich Mahogany? Well you're just a little wussy bitch, aren't you? Look at how superior I am that I've spent every hour of every day grinding titles so I can get a super-cool item in Guild Wars 2 :smug:" It's just not even worth playing now.
I played Guild Wars for about.. 2 weeks. Then got tired of it. It got confusing and boring. I hated the "outter world party only" system.

I also found City of Heroes/Villains boring as hell.

I wonder why gif images' filesizes are drastically lessened than their counterpart-sized png images'.
the whole point of a game is to be fun, right? and WoW just isn't, sorry
I'll make the same argument about Modern Warfare 2. Worst game of this generation, hands down. Boring, grindy and wack a mole. [editline]11:31PM[/editline]
a week? seriously? i was playing for two and i hit 12 maybe i'm just playing it too casually or something
It took you two weeks to get to 12? With an hour or two a night in a week you can do 1-58 pretty easily. Assuming you know how to play your class, of course. Shit, if you're a slow leveler you usually hit at least 20 or 30 in your first week.
It took you two weeks to get to 12? With an hour or two a night in a week you can do 1-58 pretty easily.
perhaps i should consult a .pdf or three for the optimum levelling procedure!
You people and your low levels make me feel like I have no life :saddowns: I have three 80's, a 74, and a 72.
They're items that get better as you level up. They're also more powerful than the rest of the gear at that level.
Oh... so they level up with your char, therefore making the game easier... Interesnting...
Took me a month to get from 1-50 on my first ever account. Literally through questing and dungeons :(
perhaps i should consult a .pdf or three for the optimum levelling procedure!
You don't need to consult a PDF for anything, if your build isn't literally terrible and you're not absolutely horrible at gearing a character (and you know the whole log off in an inn always rule) you'll do fine.
My siblings were arguing that thin mints are not the best girl scout cookie flavor What sort of fucked up family do I live in
My siblings were arguing that thin mints are not the best girl scout cookie flavor What sort of fucked up family do I live in
Caramel Delites would like a word with you sir.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, school tomorrow.
Caramel Delites would like a word with you sir.
Funny you say that because I just had one of those. The first one I've ever had. It was clearly inferior to the thin mint ubercookie. Tarnish not the ubercookie with your filthy untercookie love.
Oh... so they level up with your char, therefore making the game easier... Interesnting...
Yeah, but you need like 150 Stone Keeper's Shards to buy a Heirloom item.
Damn I suck at this, haha... What levels you have?
77, 55 and 45 on my main server, Mal'ganis. 45 took a week (haven't played that character in months) 55 took a week and a half with an hour or less a day 77 took two weeks with profession fuckery.
Fresh from the freezer thin mints are fucking godly. Especially when mixed in with vanilla ice cream. :3:
