I look like a noodle.
Went and climbed a mountain, almost died... turns out we sumitted the wrong one because we got lost in the storm. Wind speeds up to 85mph and we literally almost got blown off a 500ft cliff... After we lost david on the mountainside for 30 minutes. It's still a Munroe though, and I felt super badass in the pub afterwards.

Where's that?! My highest is Alpe D'Huez. Didn't climb it though, cycled up most of it then got the gondola to the summit. It's a really famous mountain in the tour de france if you've ever seen it... a pitiful 3330m compared to your 4095m.

the mountain i climbed is in borneo, mount kinabalu. it's the highest on the malaysian archipelago, but what i didn't mention is that the majority of people (myself included) start at 1800m :v:
it also requires no specialist equipment, and so long as you're in good physical shape nearly anyone can do it
it's awesome though. you start off in the mid afternoon and make you way up to the guesthouses at 3273m, get well fed and in bed by 8 or so, because you're up at 2am to start the ascent to the summit, aiming to arrive for sunrise, and i think it's about 8km from the normal starting point to the top

I'm fortunate that my dad lives in Hong Kong so it's given me plenty of opportunities to travel all my life.
But for that particular holiday I literally paid for it with me and my girlfriend, literally just with mephedrone.

I took out a 3 grand overdraft when I was in uni and just blew it all travelling to France, Switzeland and Thailand... Je regrette rien. I did have ot live off Tesco Value noodles for about 6 months afterwards though.
