There is a difference between wanting the best of a game and wanting ~~beter graphugs~~
ARMA II Free is Fun and all, but honestly you can't do much in terms of modding, and you don't get allthe available servers... Not to mention theres a ton of hackers, just yesterday I was playing it on the Rockpapershotgun Free server and a hacker decides to come on and Shell the entire map with artillary. It was rather fun trying to evacuate all 30 players from spawn in the helicopters. We got shot down a lot though by the AI that he spawned all around the base.
Unless the non-free arma 2 has better mechanics and less bugs, you have no reason to think it's better.

Better engine, it's supported with patches, mods like ACE and such, but watch, as I said mods you will somehow bring DayZ into it, because thats what the majority of people want it for. A zombie simulator.

Maybe it's because I'm really dumb or something but to he honest the controls are really confusing for me, and it seems like you have never played it, try the arma 2 free and you might not want it, don't criticize or ask for a game before you either play the demo or watch videos on it it, this post probably sounds dumb but cut me slack it's 5 am

They are probably the same exact thing, although me not having played the actual game it doesn't seem like they would make a drastic change in gameplay in the free versiom
Also the free version doesn't have the full list of features such as vehicles and weapons.

No, not at all, simulators don't need good graphics. Flight Simulator is a perfect example of it, not the shitty new one.
If you can get it for free. Then you just simply download it . If you only want to play with high textures and the game is free than i don't suppose someone will gift it to you.
The only Problem with ARMA 2-Free is that it's extremely limited too, this is the catch.
