I love my xbox, but I agree.
Just to clarify, though, you're unable to play online at all if you don't pay for that service, right? Not even console-to-console stuff like Co-op and such?

If it requires an internet you pretty much can't do it. Things such as playing multiplayer online, creating Xbox Live Parties, etc. You can still like login and view your friends and such and send text messages to them. But that is about as far as it goes, Its really stupid to be honest.

The PS3 is the thing to buy for a PC gamer, it's a great media center and it plays blu-rays and everything. Plus the exclusives are pretty interesting.
