They added a classic mode which is basically the old Ace of Spades except without the shit SMG and Shotgun and Voicechat. Only downsides are that there are no dedicated servers, there aren't any massive hilly randomly generated maps from the old Ace of Spades and they removed the Fog of War so if the map is flat you'll get spawncamped into oblivion.
But yeah, worth $10 now.
