Almost all laptops I've had and tried, even ~gamer laptops~ either lagged alot or overheated. It's not a good choice for gaming.

Overheating is rarely a problem if you just keep your living space clean, but I can imagine you living in your own filth.

My thinkpad's fans don't want to spin at 100% and they're not recognized by any fan control program, not even by ati ccc.

Then you should have it fixed, it's not because it's a gaming laptop that your fan broke.

It's not a gamer laptop, and the fan isn't broken, my thinkpad series just has a problem with overheating :(

Err I dunno, maybe you should read the posts again because I'm pretty sure it wasn't just about [I]gaming laptops[/I]. It was about laptops used for gaming. I use my laptop for gaming. Mine overheats. Overheating is actually very common with laptops due to shitty airflow and tiny tiny fans.

With which I thought he meant things like alienware laptops, ~razer future of pc gaming laptops~ and things like that. Basically a laptop you can't bring anywhere because the charge only lasts 5 minutes.
