skyrim definitely was not anywhere near as amazing as i thought it was going to be
skyrim is alright, it's a bit too easy though - you can increase the difficulty but all it does is give the enemies more health and damage. it was very simplified.

skyrim fixed a lot of things that oblivion had wrong with it; at the same time they removed a lot of things that made oblivion good too - they've both got pros and cons.
i think my opinions on games are usually the opposite of the popular opinion for some reason
skyrim was not great, mass effect 3 was great it was just the ending that was bad and that was like the last 30 minutes of an 18 hour game, call of duty's singleplayer is great for what it is and not what it pretends to be etc.

10, but for different reasons. Skyrim did a lot of things better, but they also removed a lot of things/did stuff crappier. I'd assume you can add everything back in with mods and make it better than Oblivion.

in terms of fun if oblivion is 10 skyrim is like 6
in terms of technology if oblivion is 10 skyrim is like 40 and about 100 with mods
it's still a bethesda game tho so expect bugs and big booty butt mods

about a 5-6 gameplay and story wise.
gameplay was boring and repetetive, you had to go to a dungeon for everything, even something as harmless as the bard's college.
The story is pretty short, just like the story lines for all guilds.
