While nothing happens in the anime, she dies at the end of the manga.
The fact that it's a mercy kill because she is literally melting doesn't help either.
When chopper from ace combat 5 gets shot down and tries to land in the football field only to crash into it and everyone over the mic screams about it in pure silence in the background, or when you long lost wingmate that disapeared near the start of the game joins you for a suicide run in a tight tunnel on oppisite ends, only to find out he didnt make it but you did.

Henrys death in Mafia 2 was one of the few deaths in games that actually shocked me, he was a kickass guy in the game too.

For those who've read A Song of Ice and Fire, the Red Wedding was the most gut-wrenching, heart-breaking death scene. And it's coming up this season on GoT.
The ending of Bioshock: Infinite sort of got me, it wasn't the worst, but to get drowned by your own daughter after a handfull of mindfucks, it got to me.

He was dislike-able and sorta a fuck-up but he mans up and redeems himself.
I couldn't get over losing Legion when I played the Suicide Mission in Mass Effect 2.
I did go back and sort that out, but watching him take that rocket in the face was one of the saddest things I've seen for some reason, even if it was just a one time thing.

Both gods use you throughout the game, eventually you kill your creator. The other god informs you that because of this, you and everyone in the dark world(Which was his creation) is going to disappear. Light side people all get to live on happily. Nice job breaking it, hero.
