When chopper from ace combat 5 gets shot down and tries to land in the football field only to crash into it and everyone over the mic screams about it in pure silence in the background, or when you long lost wingmate that disapeared near the start of the game joins you for a suicide run in a tight tunnel on oppisite ends, only to find out he didnt make it but you did.
Ace Combat 5 was Feels: The Game.

Oh yeah
At the end of Homeward Bound [sp]Where it was implied that Shadow didn't make it out of the ditch. Especially since I had a yellow lab that was my bestest pal before she died of old age[/sp]

No matter how you cut it, he died.
Shadow of the colossus' Wanderer.
[sp]You break the forbidden Taboo, go into a land and defeat the giant, all-powerful beings for their souls, just to bring back the one you love. And one you have, you wind up sacrificing your life for her in the end.[/sp]
Data from Star Trek.
[sp]Picard is on is clone's ship about to send it into oblivion along with himself, Data teleports in and saves Picard thus sacrificing himself[/sp]

ghost ans rooch in mw2
so sad ;(((((
It's been posted before but John Marstons was by far the most heartbreaking one for me in games.

Sheperd's death in MW2, because after he was killed and when the music started, I knew there's gonna be a 3.
My most heartbreaking ones were:
[sp] Merle(THW), Lee(TWD game), Dale(TWD), and Booker(Bioshock Infinite; partially) [/sp]

In a bullshit way to pull some heartstrings.
Half the deaths in LOST, but I feel that the most heartbreaking one of them all was[sp]when Jin and Sun died on the last season. It made me feel so awful I legitimately started to cry and tried to hide my tears by going into my room and pretending to take a nap. Fucking Jin was just doing so well with his English, for god's sake.[/sp]
Completely agree, but I think the scene that hit me even harder was [sp]Hurley crying on the beach after[/sp]
I think even [sp]Alex's[/sp] death was heartbreaking

You can't say Darth Vader's death wasn't a bit poignant.

It was more of a Fuck you kind of death when they announced absolution. Which broke your heart because you then bought the new game and realised it is crap.
The Road - oh boy, the feels.
everytime I kill a colossus in Shadow of the Colossus :c

It pissed me right the fuck off that they continued this amazing game as a BOOK SERIES.
For me, hmm...
Well, i literally cried at the good ending of Bioshock 2.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days when Xion "dies."

What makes the death even worse was that the dad was actually immune to the virus since carrier gene runs on the father side, and neither Zoey or her dad knew that.
Kat in All Quiet on the Western Front.
One. Fucking. Splinter.
Full 8 minutes of of sadness, still think this scenes way better by far than Brotherhoods.

What made it really sad was the fact I beat the game in one straight shot and was totally immersed and then just *water*
Completely agree, but I think the scene that hit me even harder was [sp]Hurley crying on the beach after[/sp]

What really got me was [sp]When Jack dies and it wraps up the series.[/sp]
I fuckin broke
Also Charlie
At the end of Donnie Darko, when the jet engine crashes onto his house, right after that Mad World montage. The time rift is healed and all of the awesome things Donnie did and the relationships he made -- especially the one with his girlfriend -- don't matter anymore because the universe in which they occurred ceased to exist. And people still have latent memories of all the stuff that happened there but will never realize that it's anything more than a dream or a passing feeling.
That movie was brilliant but the ending left me in a funk for about a week.
