China is such an overpowered country in C&C Generals. Just beat a hard army without losing a unit, using only base defence and 7 overlord tanks.

actually no, the defensive general is over powered, I made a base against 7 expert enemys, went downstairs watched a film with my friend Dave, came back upstairs and they hadn't broke through yet.

Yeah, if you get a good amount of the best kind of tank (different on your country, obviously) you can destroy the opposition.

But then, it's not hard. You just have to build a good defensive first.
AA turrets and bunkers first, then you get some Overlord tanks, some with gattling cannons, some with propaganda speakers and they'll never go down, and nothing gets your base. Then you take a bunch more Overlords, and go base hunting and destroy any base you come to.
I always play as the US Laser general and build fuckloads of those zappy turrets everywhere.
Loved to play as the laser general in that game, though the power requirements were ridiculous. Nothing landborne or airborne got through, except for those damned Aurora bombers.
I need to get Red Alert 2.

A nuke wasn't very good against the GLA however. Cause of those stupid things the buildings left over. The SCUDs and the USA laser thing killed those.
I have that First Decade pack so I get every C&C game up to and including Generals and Zero Hour.
