I was actually vegetarian for around 5 years and went full vegan for a year after seeing how dogs, cats, cattle and basically every other animal was treated.
I'm really into food and cooking though so curiosity got the better of me when I got the chance to try some veal, which until that point I had never had before. Ever since that day I've been eating meat again, I don't know what to think of myself.
It tastes good, and I have a real talent for cooking, especially Chinese dishes from Hunan and Guangxi, but I do feel bad for the animals.
I guess I just try not to think about it.

I get you, I'm a big meat eater myself. I cook meat all the time for me and my gf. I can only hope the animals we have eaten/will eat have lived pretty good lives. I know it's not the case most of the time but what can you do.
I think my least favorite meat is deer so far.

I eat in restaurants four days a week and sometimes upload pictures of the food to my LinkedIn network to give compliments. Especially if it's in the restaurant of one of my best cliënts.

Oh man, it's been too fuckin' long since I last had a burger, let alone one with proper thick ol' patties like that... Pub doesn't really do burgers on their lunch menu, so I need to look elsewhere for proper burgers.
The ones they do at the kebab shop are alright, but the patties are still a bit too thin.

I tried making a shooter's sandwich and while it was alright, I wouldn't make it again. Buying a decent steak so I can crush it into a loaf of bread and eat it at room temperature seems a waste of a good steak, why not just make actual beef wellington and have a nice loaf of bread on the side?

Because this stuff is like, a north east England specialty as far as I know. You can get one from any takeaway, and there are takeaways everywhere around where I'm from. They're literally the best food ever made and when they're done right you will swear you've not tasted anything as delicious as it is.
