Castlevania IV or Castlevania Dracula X, depending on whether you want a more genuine castlevania experience (dracula X) or something a bit more original in its own right.

Did you know the campaign is called the 2nd Encounter and Original Encounter? (former on Macintosh, latter on 3DO and Apple IIGS, all three programmed by Interplay's one and only Bill/Becky/Rebecca "Burger" Heineman)
Actually, First Encounter was Episode 1, made of three levels, the second made for the SNES-based ports, like the Mac.
Second Encounter was the rest of the SNES levels with First Encounter.
Third Encounter was the SNES/Mac levels, and the PC levels.
Heineman only programmed the Mac/3DO port. John Carmack did the SNES version himself.
You need a second controller. Also NBA Jam, that game is the literal shit.
MMMMMY NIGGA
NBA Jam is my favorite game forever.

Yes, correct! ..Except that, the manual for Wolf 3-D on SNES mentions "Developed on an Apple IIGS".
..And by the way, the Jaguar port was simply the SNES with new graphics and treasure modified to give health. (The negative reception had to do with the game feeling like Doom)
The truth is, iD wanted to test if it was possible to make a Jaguar port. They were right, but had to cut in-game music just to keep framerates. (Amazing, the synth and 3D cannot be done together... That's where the 3DO came in)
I've also read that commercial versions include both the 2nd & 3rd Encounters, with the Death Knight modified to drop a silver key.
[SP]Now, I wonder if it's possible to rip the "compressed" System 7 sound?[/SP] Alberto Ricci, programmer of SoundExtractor [SP]promised support for extracting "csnd" resources[/SP]

It's still the best theme I've ever heard.

Apple IIGS was a common platform to develop SNES games at the time. Doom was made on a NextStep computer.
The Apple IIGS port released commercially was built from the Mac port's source code.

That's Doom, Wolf 3D has an enhanced version of the PC soundtrack. The 3DO port of Wolf3D had a whole new soundtrack, Doom got the rearranged music on 3DO.
-can't read-

Where's bad reading when you need it

..And, Wolfenstein 3D on Macintosh's got connections to other videogames. For example;
*Charles Deenen composed for Another World on the Megadrive, SNES, 3DO and Apple IIGS. He even made the instrument samples for Wolf3D (Macintosh) so Brian Luzietti could sequence! ...But, his (Charles') compositions for the 3DO port of Eric Chahi's game were part of the backlash.
ActRaiser's my all time favourite SNES game.
Part sidescrolling platforming action, part god sim (building up cities, having people worship you, banishing monsters y'know)
Basically you play as God himself, who's come out of cryo-stasis to find the world in peril - so you gotta go down to Earth and smack up some monsters.
Speaking of god games, SimCity and SimCity 2000.
Oh man, this game is so good it's unbelievable. Fucking incredible from start to finish, it never lets up.
Seriously, if you're lucky enough to find a copy that works, get it. It's one of the very few games I have ever called "perfect".
Paper Mario is better.
Speaking of god games, SimCity and SimCity 2000.
The former looks best, mostly if you wish to kick back from the disappointing reboot from this year. (Will Wright got upset and left because EA doesn't care if they ruin his creation)
Tell you what, EA bans players on the forums for pointing out any bugs or flaws. For example; Someone said that the possible reason for pathfinding fucking up was the players finding ways to break the game, as if trying to hide the fact that they weren't capable of fixing it! (How weak, like reporting cheaters on NFS World and you be grounded for"Name & Shame".)
Try Enix's "The 7th Saga." It's a not-so-grindy RPG (well, it gets a little grindy towards the endgame) that is known for its difficulty which stems in part from a bug that causes other apprentices to scale far better than the human player and is not present in Elnard, its Japanese counterpart.
Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts is another favorite of mine. It's not as unforgiving as Ghouls 'n Ghosts (which I play on the Master System, so YMMV)
Lester the Unlikely
:v::v::v::v::v::v:
Turtles in time.

Easy as ABC, but James Rolfe sucks balls at it. (Tap left/right to move a step, be careful with the collision for the vines later on)
Soul Blazer if you can find a decently priced copy.
Super Ghouls N' Ghosts
Breath Of Fire 1 and 2
Megaman X 1-3
Secret of Mana
Secret Of Evermore
Earthworm Jim 1 and 2
Lufia 2(the original was OK, the sequel was quite a bit better)
Demon's Crest
Heh your collection looks like you were in your teens when the SNES came out. Great selection, especially Demon's Crest. I ended up buying Super Ghouls N' Ghosts on my Wii so I could finally try to beat the game. I still haven't done it lol. Anyway here are a few of my own (probably reposting at this point but I don't really care)
Contra 3 - Warning: this game is Nintendo Hard
Super Metroid - imo best Metroid game, though the first Prime was admittedly pretty damn good
A Link to the Past - second favourite Zelda game after Twilight Princess
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time - awesome side-scroll beat-em-up. Speaking of which, the XBOX Arcade remake of this is dogshit.
Super Smash TV - I won't ruin this game for you, just play it. It's totally insane.
Final Fantasy III (in NA. It is otherwise usually known as FFVI... really annoying trying to keep track of that) - imo best Final Fantasy game, and at least better than the overrated FFVII.
Metal Warriors - Side scrolling mech action. Pretty neat game actually.
Harvest Moon - If you've never played a Harvest Moon game, why not start with the original? Warning: extremely addictive
Lost Vikings - One of Blizzards early games, very cool for its use of teamwork among the three characters to solve puzzles and kill things.
Blackthorne - One of the darkest, grittiest games on the SNES. Also an early Blizzard game. Very very good, but also very difficult.
Axelay - of the spaceship shoot-em-ups, this has got to be one of my favourites.
Super Bomberman - if you haven't played bomberman and have a friend who is willing to play with you, get this. Hilarious.
Chrono Trigger - one of the best RPGs ever.
Goof Troop, as short as it is its a ton of fun with a friend, one of the few coop multiplayer games.
Super Metroid - imo best Metroid game, though the first Prime was admittedly pretty damn good
Super Metroid is great but I think Zero Mission is actually a bit better. It has multiple difficulties with hard mode being surprisingly challenging (Mecha Ridley with 100% completion on hard mode is stupid hard because he becomes twice as hard at 100% completion and hard mode makes upgrades upgrade by half the amount they should) and sequence breaking is a huge challenge because it takes some real trying.
A Link to the Past - second favourite Zelda game after Twilight Princess
Exact reverse of my favorite Zeldas. :v:
Some advice: To play Japanese games on an SNES, all you have to do is break the tabs out of the cartridge slot.
Super Bomberman 2.
Yoshi's Island and Super Mario All-Stars is all you need. You will be set for months.

Or use a Nakitek Game Saver+, and get to save whenever you want.
Super Bonk is hella fun

I saw it too, on Lazy Game Reviews. (Playing import games is interesting, like finding out Wolfenstein 3D on SNES is subtitled The Claw of Eisenfaust in Japan)
[SP]Just don't mention Super 3D Noah's Ark, a.k.a. Fuck Farts[/SP]
..Too bad there are no mission briefings for the Original Encounter in case of those playing on Macintosh, 3DO or Apple IIGS. (So, you have no idea about Blazkowicz carrying out the destruction of Adolf Trautmann/Staatmeister's resurrecting of the evil-deads unless you first grew up with SNES or Jaguar. Heck, the first time I ever played Wolf 3-D was on an SNES emulator on my Wii!)

To be exact, I was 11 when the Super Nintendo came out. The difference between the standard NES and SNES was mind blowing to little me.
