Yeah. Catholic.
Not one of those heavy ass "I GO TO CHURCH ERRY' DAY LULUL" catholics, just one that goes to church every sunday and believes in God Catholic.
I believe in the great Juju of the Mountain.
Sometimes, I go pray at a bhuddist temple, but that's about it. I don't even understand what they're talking about in there since they speak in Mandarin and I suck total shit at understanding any Chinese language.
Buddhists doesn't believe in god(s) so it's kinda void to pray at a buddhist temple.
i'd like to see a religiousfags face when he dies and realizes all his life has gone to waste by worshipping something that is not real
It most likely comforted the person in times when he/she needed it, it probably gave him a social network and a motivation to live life, so why hate on him?
Not all religious people are extremists but ordinary people like you and me, living life and worrying about paying the bills or doing a good job or giving the necessary attention to his/her loved one.

I'm a muslim so congratulations, you've seen a muslim on fp. :)
No.
I don't believe in anything and I don't care what science proves and disproves.
[editline]15th November 2010[/editline]
Proving a higher power is irrelevant to my way of life, so why should I even care? :v:

Me to, yaay.
Nope.
Do we need this thread every week?
I believe in Valhalla. OH TOR AND ODEN! BRING ME TO VALHALLA!
I mainly believe in nothing, a.k.a science.
But I do also believe in some higher omnipotent beings possible existence.
But I also have a slight belief that we might as well just reincarnate and have spirits.
I believe in a bit of everything because you can't deny either one and they are all as plausible with our current knowledge.
There is also nothing that says that all of this can't co-exist. You can have a spirit that moves onto a new body with there existing an omnipotent being that created all the mass that made up The Big Bang as well as creating the existence itself, and since the spirit doesn't carry your brain your own life will end in complete nothingness, but your experiences and memories will live on in the spirit itself and move on to a new human being born.
I don't believe in any of the religious Gods though.
Yes.
And nice avatar dgg.
I believe in the Communist God Lennin and his son-by-law Stalin

What about Marx?
i judge and insult religious people
No way of knowing, no point wasting time caring.
I would rather try to enjoy life to the max now than think about anything 'beyond life' as it were.
I believe there is atleast one omnipotent being in the Universe, and most likely alot of them. But do I believe that one of these beings would waste time by watching over humanity and answering prayers? No.
Omnipotence is logically impossible.
i judge and insult religious people
I think we just became friends. No... Not really...
But honestly, standing in a crowd of Christians and screaming "HAIL SATAN!!" is THE BEST.
This still doesn't make us friends.
I believe in some sort of higher power but that's about it.
this. im too young to have a religious belief. i used to go to church as a kid, but my mom decided that you don't have to go to church to still believe in god.

Too young to have a religious belief? ...What?
I can understand that your parents think that you're not old enough to decide that (or it could be that they think you should decide for yourself, which is a good thing) but it seems to me that your parents are pushing down their belief down your throat.

See here's the thing ; You don't believe in science, science is a method of understanding our reality. Therefore you can't 'believe' in science, since it's just a method.
It would be like you're believeing in weightlifting. Weightlifting is just a method to achieve stronger muscles. It's an insult to scientists to say that you believe in a method. There's no right or wrong in science, there are no moral laws, there is no absolute truth and there never will be. The closer we get to the truth, the farther away we are.

Talk about being picky.
I believe in the god within myself.

Ah, a satanist I assume then? :)
Satanism is not very different from Christianity, both religions pray for love and peace.
Satanism is not very different from Christianity, both religions pray for love and peace.
Satanism is living freely. Indulging in ones own interests. Not letting 'sin' or 'god' stop them from living their own life.
Anyhow I am an atheïst and I do not believe in god, I believe that we can reach whatever we want on our own strength.
I respect other religions though, some religions are even fascinating.
Satanism is not very different from Christianity, both religions pray for love and peace.
Yeah, it's a shame so many people have this view of satanism as something where people indulge in sacrifice, trying to summon the devil and all that jazz when it's just a really liberal religion where you believe in yourself.
I mean, they only mention the devil once in the bible (two times if you're of the belief that the snake in the garden of eden is the devil) and he really doesn't do that much. He sure as hell doesn't reply to sacrifice or give you supreme powers atleast.
I know a few satanists and they are one of the most independent people I know, and definiatly one of the nicest people too.
Omnipotence is logically impossible.
Yes, complete omnipotence is impossible. I just didn't have a better term for what I was referring to. By "omnipotent beings" I meant a person or race of people that have the technology to sustain themselves indefinitely aswell as the power to create virtually anything.
My god is my brain, I do what it tells me to do.
I dislike ignorance.
So I'm ignorant because the easiest way to get the point out is to say I believe in science?
There are people out there that don't believe in the research at all you know. Thus they don't believe in science even though science is just a method of understanding things by trying and failing.
I believe that somebody or something created the Earth.
I believe in the Imperial Cult, and the all Powerful God Emperor, may death come on the Wings of the Adeptus Astartes.
Jk
I have my own beliefs in god, mainly I've seen coincidence is bullshit so yeah.
In other words yes.
