Actually terrible. If you even get a job at say McDonalds they'll treat you like the bottom feeder and give you the "clean-up" jobs, since they don't want you on the register or the stoves.
A job is a job. If it's cleaning toilets, oh fucking well, because if you're 14 you can't afford to be picky. Besides, cleaning jobs are kick ass, time flies so much faster when you're cleaning. Also OP, I recommend you just do yard work for people. grab your bike, and go house to house asking for some yard work, after an hour see how much work you have. You could also try baby-sitting, get a SNES and you'll never have to see the damn kids face. Show them the flute in Mario bros 3 :3:
god fucking dammit are you really posting here
And who are you from FM, my dear friend?
You could try at chippys and such.
The chinese restaurant once hired me for 20£ a day. Not much I know but better than nothing.
Did it on saturday and sunday so I got £40 a week.
see if you can get a job through a family member/family friend, I was able to get a job at a deli stocking shelves/washing dishes when I was 14
worked at minimum wage for 10 hours and got 70 bucks a day
If you live in the UK, then most companies won't hire under 16s due to a) the extreme restriction on they hours they can work and b) the insurance for under 16s is much higher, and there's also a shitload of health and safety stuff.
Perhaps working at a senior home (if possible). A friend of mine said that when she was 13 she worked at a senior home, 3 hours a week and had a starting wage of 12.20 CDN. As far I know, she went around and did very basic service stuff like transporting food/medicine. Not a bad deal she said; she got free ice cream :v:
It really depends on your resume. Do you have any life experience?
Life experience how? I've worked at life for a good 13 years...I think that gets me a lot of life experience.
Sell your body to sweaty old men on street corners at night.
You'll be lucky to find a place that will hire you at 14, with no actual qualifications yet.
Also, IIRC there is no minimum wage for people under 16 in the UK, I may be wrong.
For the record I'm in the US.
Depends how tight your asshole is...... Question is, is it tight enough?
I'll pay you 6 pounds an hour to come round to my house and clean up.
Fuck I'd do it.
[editline]02:47PM[/editline]
If that was in dollars.
I'm pretty sure you can't get a real legal job at 14 even if you say you can. Why don't you ask your parents for help?

In Ohio? Pretty sure I can...
You have to be 15 to have a part time job here in the states.
However, a lot of places don't really care.
One thing you could do is become an inventor. Just go to the junkyard, get some stuff, put it together and WHAMO! You get a machine!
Then sell it for $19.95
(or 20 if your a cheap badstard)
Bag gorceries at you local grocery store. That's what alot of kids around my town did.
Life experience how? I've worked at life for a good 13 years...I think that gets me a lot of life experience.
living with your parents house and playing video games is not a lot of life experience.
First job was at 16 teaching drums, I got asked to do it. Bitches know about mah skillz. :smug:
If your in the US good fucking luck, I'm just about 19 and can't find a job despite applying everywhere.
I want an ACTUAL job, though. I had a paper route at 12, and though it did pay, it was significantly less than minimum wage.
And if I worked at McDonald's...what could I do? Cashier, I'm guessing?
Probably cleanish shit up. Thats what i did... I quited the day after i started.
You could get like a babysitting license
Mowing laws, paper round, there's lots of jobs.
My classmate's dad knew someone who knew the director of a hardware shop, and they let him clean up in the storage room, even though he was 5 years younger than the requirements.
He didn't make as much as the older guys though, but he still made quite some.
Quite a few supermarkets nearby hire at 14. I personally have a summer job at a restaurant, but that's only because my uncle's the manager (it's a restaurant/nightclub type thing)
I'm currently fourteen and I can't get a job anywhere from what I know although I haven't tried. You have a good chance at fifteen to work at a place like Mc Donald's if you get a work permit and give a good resume. You may just be cleaning tables though as I don't think you can handle food or anything like that.
Also, I am a programmer/game developer and I've been working on a game for a year that's gotten the attention of a "professional indie" artist. Is that worth mentioning?
Good luck with that bro.

No, it's not.
Not unless you give us the indie publishers name. And then proof YOU'RE the one who made the game.
