Having actual rules. Like on SA, where there's a huge list of rules, every subforum has a list of rules, and you're pretty sure what you can get banned for. Here, it's whatever the mod feels like.

More variety, less enormous threads that completely dominate sub sections. Some type of a controlled community growth, this place deserves more good attention. Some type of tweaking of the rating system to prevent rating bandwagons, and the annoying effect of the ratings frequently making people follow the herd instinct and or react to a post based on which ratings it has, intentionally or unintentionally, they should not inhibit independent thought. More direction and community organization, Facepunch needs to have a more defined face, and have more incentive to be a part of something somewhere somehow.

I had an wonderful experience when I was perma-banned because my friend posted in "Ban Me". Took Postal and the other mods around 5-10 minutes after I got hold on them to in the Steam Chat to unban me and apologize. So permabanning should probably be a little more strict, [B]ATLEAST IF EVERYONE INVITED GET BANNED IN A CHAIN![/B]

People should be banned for not reading the article in SH and then comment about the article. Like, when someone comments based on only the title and then something different happens in the article.
