this is weird.
my cuz got doom installed and was able to play it on medium settings with 40-50fps
then he restarts his computer and now he cant run the game with more than 20fps even with everythign on low. installed the latest amd drivers that are supposedly optimized for doom but that didnt have any effect

This is a known bug, but I thought it only happened on Nvidia 700 series cards. Strange that it's happening even with an AMD.

evidentlaly from what im reading AMD has got fucked with release version doom 4. his card isnt even that old. its an amd r9 270
