what do you plan on doing?
that's the magic question anything off the list of things i actually want to do with my life if it's not something i'm passionate about i can't invest myself in it enough to go far i could go for something safe but boring but that is not the path to an enjoyable life i'm banking off the hopes that with enough passion and dedication i can go pretty far the least i can do is try [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline] tbh i'm awful at deciding things for myself tho i never even realize things that i think i'd be good at until someone says to me "you would be good at this" lmao
i'll have you kno that's BUSTER HOW COULD U DO THIS
I meant Arthur as in the show. Do you have corn in your ears, mister?
The same way Arthur does it:
:scream:
im not the only one who thinks majoring in liberal arts is one of the biggest wastes of money ever right
i did a lot of critical studying this year about that in one of my classes theres upsides to go outside a formal education
im not the only one who thinks majoring in liberal arts is one of the biggest wastes of money ever right
if you do something with it it's not it's the people who don't who have kinda wasted something it's a good way to get classes out of the way to pursue a more specialized degree
im not the only one who thinks majoring in liberal arts is one of the biggest wastes of money ever right
What CAN you do with a liberal arts degree? [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline] Like I'm legit curious I have no idea what you could do with it
it's very rare that you'll be able to find a job in your field as an art history major i mean if art is your passion go for it but it's not really something that a career can be made out of as easily as something like STEM [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline]
What CAN you do with a liberal arts degree? [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline] Like I'm legit curious I have no idea what you could do with it
i think art history majors can become consultants for museums
im not the only one who thinks majoring in liberal arts is one of the biggest wastes of money ever right
If you force yourself into stem youll quickly realize that 1. You wont be able to hang in there 2. You wont WANT to be there You gotta find a career that plays to your strengths and abilities, you cant force yourself into something solely for money
What CAN you do with a liberal arts degree? [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline] Like I'm legit curious I have no idea what you could do with it
it's not a specialized degree so anything that doesn't require a specialized degree but generally liberal arts degrees very much do not stand out at all
i don't need a paper to tell me i'm good at art i'd rather prove it with my work too bad i never will be able to because i'm too fucking lazy to practice :(((((
you guys know theres liberal art science degrees and stuff too right my friends a geneticist going to a liberal arts school
you guys know theres liberal art science degrees and stuff too right my friends a geneticist going to a liberal arts school
i'm assuming he's talking about a gen ed degree since liberal arts could mean pretty much anything
tbh im very appreciative of the methods of liberal arts schools, especially when it comes to their engineering programs and sciences you learn life skills and knowledge too that can often carry over a lot better than just having a lot of book knowledge, especially when it comes to job searching [editline]23rd May 2016[/editline] that said im still attending a uni so whatever
is there a conservative arts degree
is there a conservative arts degree
i guess that would be an art degree
i guess that would be an art degree
oh
i'm just gonna pack my bags and go to clown college
i feel really bad for people who decided to pursue liberal arts degrees all the way but end up at starbucks paying off their debt and way askew from what they wanted to be originally
i'm just gonna pack my bags and go to clown college
don't kill the krusty burgler
i feel really bad for people who decided to pursue liberal arts degrees all the way but end up at starbucks paying off their debt and way askew from what they wanted to be originally
that happens for uni graduates too lol
