anything off the list of things i actually want to do with my life
if it's not something i'm passionate about i can't invest myself in it enough to go far
i could go for something safe but boring but that is not the path to an enjoyable life

i did a lot of critical studying this year about that in one of my classes
theres upsides to go outside a formal education

Like I'm legit curious I have no idea what you could do with it
it's very rare that you'll be able to find a job in your field as an art history major
i mean if art is your passion go for it
but it's not really something that a career can be made out of as easily as something like STEM

If you force yourself into stem youll quickly realize that
1. You wont be able to hang in there
2. You wont WANT to be there

it's not a specialized degree so anything that doesn't require a specialized degree
but generally liberal arts degrees very much do not stand out at all
i don't need a paper to tell me i'm good at art
i'd rather prove it with my work

i'm assuming he's talking about a gen ed degree
since liberal arts could mean pretty much anything
tbh im very appreciative of the methods of liberal arts schools, especially when it comes to their engineering programs and sciences
you learn life skills and knowledge too that can often carry over a lot better than just having a lot of book knowledge, especially when it comes to job searching
