that bottom one is quite nice, reminds me of a masada
XM12 Assault rifle:
Utilizes a long-stroke piston rotating bolt action.
Chambered in 6.5mm Grendel, it utilizes an 80 round magazine, build from two casket magazines (40 rnds each) stacked on in front of the other.
Fires at 700 RPM from the open bolt, or closed bolt (striker fired) when in semi-auto.
Fire selection is based on the two stage trigger; first stage is semi, second stage is full auto. No safety, because war isn't safe.
Incorporates a 2x magnification red dot optic as default, with twin ejection ports that can be switched between in-field for left handed shooting.

havent tried this in a while, but wanted to do a mag-on-top gun... The idea was that the mag is offset, and the sights run along normally

I got bored, wondered what would happen if I stuck some AK parts on an M14 stock.
It reminded me of the VEPR series of rifles, which use heavy barrels and wood stocks. Makes a nice commiefornia-legal rifle, I suppose?
