So I'm working on my Senior Seminar thesis paper, and like a typical college student I picked a subject that was the first to come to mind. My seminar class is on mating systems. I chose Sexual Cannibalism. I fucking hate spiders what the hell am I even doing with my life?

I suffer from Parcopresis, oddly enough. My asshole basically turns into a steel wall in which no poop can pass if I hear anything other than white noise. Close footsteps or anything even remotely human? No poop for hours.

I mean I've always been curious about how others with parcopresis deal with it. I've gotten lucky and have found bathrooms that will basically allow me to go whenever I need without interruption. But once college is over I'll eventually have a job that won't quite allow for that. But that being said it's really not a serious issue, hell it's not even considered a medical condition :v:. I can imagine a thread about the two wouldn't be taken seriously at all.

I'm glad I'm not the same as I was when I joined in 2010. My first post was a l4d greifing/revenge on greifers guide. I haven't posted that much, but I've been lurking everyday at least 95% of the last 4 years to varying degrees. My opinions changed as I fell out of the main demographic of this site and sites opinions changed. As the at the time "next" generation of tf2 players that actually spent money filled in, ripoff trading no longer was cool here, though far from the scammers that were becoming more active at the time. Seeing some of the opinions in SH seems scarier than ever as I no longer connect with the ideas that back those opinions. Overall the forum is more liberal, which seems mostly good socially, but can't agree with most economic ideas on that front.
Not sure how long I'll stay here or where'd I go next. Currently is decent in having a manageable amount of content, but DD took a huge hit and I'm no longer a Valve fanboy, after L4D2 got abandoned, csgo got shipped out in prealpha, and no news in a new single or multiplayer game from them that I'd play.

There was a discussion on the last page about how autistic (hate using autistic, but it best describes it) we used to be on web forums. Here's my story. I went through all the embarrassment of screenshotting my old posts to help illustrate how bad I was.
I first registered to a forum when I was 11 years old back in 2006. Didn't even know COPPA was a thing.
The forum I'd registered to was one concerning Duke Nukem 3D modding. I was a MASSIVE halo nerd at the time. My profile name was Orna Fulsamee (Then Fulsamee, Then Fulsam, now it's Fulsy on anywhere but FP), and my signature and avatar was all covenant shit. I'd gotten yelled at numerous times for having a MASSIVE fucking picture of a shipmaster elite as my signature.
Anywho, I'd learned my way around the BUILD editor, and decided that I was ready to start sharing some of the maps I'd made. The first map I'd shared was "Laundry", a map named for the laundromat you passed through.
Laundry probably required two seconds to beat. I blatantly copied and pasted part of the ingame level "Freeway", and built some rooms around it. I posted a thread about it, asked a map hosting site to feature it, the whole nine. The people on the forum were blunt, and told me everything wrong with it.

Rather than effectively fix the map, I immediately started work on another one. Then another. Then another.
Didn't get bad until I found the "Ultimate Spam" board. It was a subforum dedicated solely to flaming and shitposting, basically their version of OIFY. I went on that forum, and posted some of the stupidest fucking shit ever known to man.

And people would get annoyed at it. People would shitpost back about how that meme was old even then, and I took it way to seriously. The ultimate self-pity fest immediately followed.

I wanted people to feel bad for me, so I took this shit into the general forums. I repeatedly talked about how I was "Leaving" the community, and would move on to the Doom community.
If anything, I'm simply glad that I didn't know what facepunch was back then. I also feel bad for the people who tried to help me, and gave me honest advice about my maps, and what would make them better. I completely disregarded their advice, and merely wallowed in self-pity because my map was getting criticized.
One thing I've always wanted to do is completely remake that map with what I can do now, 9 years later. That forum's dead now, unfortunately.
