I'm one of [I]those[/I] people. The person that gets weirded out and disgusted by things the majority of people seem to find normal. If people constantly mention sex, human anatomy ( *wink* ), farts, masturbation and the like, I either walk off or try and shift the conversation elsewhere.
Also, I have a fear that people dislike my personality. All through my life I've been a "goody two shoes". Never got detentions, did homework, did well in exams, didn't make a scene and all in all, was quiet and got on with life. When I had my 'films every night' phase at 13, I began to notice that in films set in schools, there was the kid that no one liked. The quiet and "good" one and I was like "That's me". Someone offered me some alchohol when I was 15 and was with my friends and I declined, only to be called a "killjoy". Hmph.
Finally, I have a fear of any "popular" / well-known method of death. Swimming, large knives, heights, ferocious animals, cars, guns and shady people. I rarely go a day without scaring myself from something.

People who press other people to do alcohol or drugs aren't very good friends. You didn't do anything wrong. There's nothing wrong with being the "good kid", people respect that when they start to mature.

This may sound slightly selfish but one of the reasons I never do / did either of those was that I benefit(ed) nothing from it and it would just cause people to dislike me.
Also, where I live, schools are / were full of "drug dealing rappers bruv" so I didn't experience everyone getting along. In fact, almost the opposite. It was very hard to go through a day without someone offering you "w33d" which was most definitely just some grass and if you said no, you were a "fking posh twat gay boy looooool", despite the north of England being uh how you say...less civilised than other locations.

No but I'm not wanting to like "improve myself", it's more that the gyms here are quite filled with a lot of girls who just go to take selfies and guys who'd lift until they drop dead. I don't really fit in in my opinion, and since I'm such a lightweight (62kg, 6'2" or 185cm) and barely have any muscle, it'd look weird and I'm afraid people will look at me because of it.
I just want to exercise to keep some stamina, right now a 3 minute bikeride pretty much gets me out of breath. Also it'd probably help me empty my head, I'm usually really busy with my own thoughts.
Oh, and I eat a lot, but I never gain weight. Everyone would love it, but to be honest, I'd love to have some more flesh on my face.
