If he was shot with a BB, I think he should be okay. My boyfriend's cat has gotten into a fight with two dogs at once and he came back a little messed up, but alright.

Hopefully he'll come back nice and healthy.

I sure hope so, it didn't go through but there was a nasty purple bruise on his leg and a big lump, and he was limping.

Oh I see.

In that case, he should be fine with a little rest as long as you make sure he doesn't strain that leg too much, meaning, keep him inside, help him up and down stairs and all that good stuff.

Also, look around the neighborhood for someone who owns a BB gun. You could definitely get that kid arrested for animal cruelty if they did it intentionally.
