Overkill on the ammo, either you've got a lot of time on your hands and the enemy doesn't give a shit about the random bullets flying past him, or you're too lazy to reload.

German technology allowed them to construct this modified MP40 year 1940, although it was never used, for several reasons. It has a badass (as you can see) firerate and it's extremly accurate.
Maybe it's cause there is no magazine.
