It's extended barrel adds a huge ammount of accuracy, while being reinforced to deal with the strains of infantry combat.
It uses a receiver is extremely simple, easy to take apart and very reliable.
It's extremely light, comparable to the L85A2 has a large 24 round magazine, with optional extras.
