Biology.

Just too darn bad that they'se only teaches them evilutionism lies! :downs:
[sp]Because of a nice little phenomena called Poes Law I will just point out that this is a parody.[/sp]
Doing AS Biology was probably the single worst desicion I ever made at school. It's such an incredibly pointless subject and you literally have to rote learn tons of completely useless bollocks about mitochondria and shit and you never actually learn how any of it works. It's mindlessly dull and you shouldn't do it.

You learn how respiration happens in A2. What else was pointless?
I enjoyed AP BIO because AP is more labs less learning for more credit
Yeah but you need the ability to do it as well. If you're not mathematically inclined this can be an issue.
Not really. I love Physics/chemistry, and i overall get much higher grades in P/C than Math. Also, I'm considered the designated linguistic wonderkid in my class, so that probably means i work more with the right (Or is it left?) part of the brain, seeing as, IIRC, one side does logic, the other does creative/photomemory/linguistic skills, so one tends to be superior in one or the other
how about Psychology?
Also, in reply to the OP, Physics/Chemistry all the way! :science:

Here, have a lightning
However, you learn respiration/photosynthesis in P/C too
I myself have chosen chemistry over biology and so far I do not regret my choice.
bio is easier than chem from what i hear.
but chem is collage prep and i am in bio. :smith:
Suppport all sciences!
Chemistry and Biology cure cancer
Physics puts us in space
Now lets join together to take out liberal arts!
liberal arts. :what:
I have physics, chemistry and biology :smug:
But really, my favourite science subject is chemistry.
Why not do the other core science, Physics?
I'm doing physics and it's more fun than chemistry and biology put together.
I have both chemistry and physics and I prefer chemistry.
Chemistry is badass.
Biology is much easeir. In my opinion of course. So if you're planning on just getting by with a pretty good mark, even if you don't really try, this is the course for you.
Just took an AP Biology test on the wonderful world of domains (Archaea, Bacteria, Eukarya), Protists and Fungi today. It's a shit-ton of memorization, for anyone who's wondering.
AP Chem's easier so long as you understand moles, Avagadro and some limited quantum stuff. It's more application than memorization, and that's why I'm going to take it next year.

have you done DNA repliaction yet?
Helicase, polymerase, primase, etc
physics mother fucker
I took biology, chemistry and physics at A-Level and biology is definitely the worst one since there's so much crap to learn, and it's probably the most boring. Chemistry was better, mechanisms and trends/properties of chemicals always seemed more interesting than the shit you get in biology like DNA replication and photosynthesis. Best of all was physics, learning about light and space and quantum behaviour is fascinating stuff. There are a lot of formulas but this is the only downside in my opinion.
Offtopic slightly, I took psychology too but I dropped it after the first year because it's 99% bullshit. It isn't anything like the other sciences, it's nearly all essays and remembering about specific studies which you read about.

Mitochondria never get's the respect it deserves.
Chemistry is hard. If you can't handle the mental pain, don't bother.
I would take chem first and then bio, because some stuff (mostly molecular/cell bio) will be easier to understand if you have previous knowledge from chem.
Or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biophysical_chemistry if you're feeling fancy. :smug:

That left-brain, right-brain stuff is bullshit fyi.

NUU I RED ON INTERNET SO IS TRU
/c
If it's for A levels, why not do both?
I'm probably insane, but I'm doing Physics, Chemistry Biology and maths...
I definitely prefer chemistry, though it may just be the teacher.
chemistry erryday
I personally prefer Biology. I found it really interesting. It all depends on what you like, everybody has different opinions.
If you want to learn about the human body, how plants create food or how genes work, go with Biology.
If you'd prefer to learn about the periodic table of elements, and study molecules and substances in detail, go with Chemistry.
I'm in AP biology right now, and it's alright. Schools in Alabama are utter SHIT though, due to zero taxes, so the fact that we don't do any fun labs (or any labs at all for that matter) shouldn't deter you
Seeing as I failed my biology class, I'm going to have to go with Chemistry.
