Another reported case of this so-called "Tall-Man" or "Slender-Man" phenomena,
a call was made approximately 10:14 P.M., today, August 4th, 2009. The caller
sounded anxious and frightened. The following is a rough transcript of the
call:
Dispatcher: 911, What is your emergency?
Caller(scared): Th-theres someone outside.. or there was but i- i haven't seen him for a, *short swallowing sound* a couple of mintues
Dispatcher: Okay, please try to remain calm, we've sent a unit to your location they should be there shortly. Have you locked all your doors and windows sir?
Caller: We- *the sound of the call becomes distorted and a low sound is heard over the words.*
Dispatcher: Err... excuse me sir, we seem to be having some problems with the line.
Caller: ----------EASE! I ca----- m scared! please--ay on the pho---ith me!
Dispatcher: Okay sir, please remain calm. The car has reported that they are nearly there.
Caller:----od! i----ared--- blac----sui---too ta--no---uman
Dispatcher: Sorry sir i didn't catch that?
Caller: Ma---- all---can't be---huma---claws---ack---uit! *A loud crashing sound is heard and the low sound gets louder and louder, the dispatcher holds the phone away from her, a scream can be heard bearly audiable over sound, clearly though, a childs laughter can be heard, but as if it was coming from an adult.*
The phone cuts off here.
Police arrived at the scene three minutes after the call ended. After a quick inspection of the house they realised nobody was there.
The front door had been forced open, and the back door was wide open. A trail lead out of the back door and into the woods behind it. Searching the woods the police found nothing. The trail cut off eventually and seemed to vanish into nothingness. Stumped the police returned to the house, they find nothing relating to the incident except the phone. Curious, one member of the squad, Frank Wilson picked up the phone. It is noted by another officer that he dropped it almost instantly complaining of "laughter that should not be" and extremely low huming noises.
A week after the incident another police squad was dispatched to Wilsons house (report number - 600089).[/QUOTE]
