Normal bees typically only sting in defense. Don't do something that comes off as threatening and they will leave you alone. Its wasps, hornets, yellow jackets and african bees that you have to watch out for.
I've never been stung and have no idea if I'm allergic to bee stings or not. :dogsleep:
I was stung in my ear by a wasp once as a kid so that was a memorable experience
