I [i]almost[/i] tried tinder a few months ago, but decided fuck it. It feels to me like a combination of fear of rejection, plus I kindof like being by myself, at this point having someone around would be awkward and weird. And right now I just want to focus on finding work
Go for it anyway. Take a nice pic of yourself, be truthful and see what comes. Try not to worry about it so much, if not a perfect date you might just end up meeting some pretty cool like minded people

That means a lot my dude. I have always found it tough to find a likeminded individual, and almost impossible for the opposite sex. It's been a while since I broke up with my ex and I am starting to feel what you mean by liking being by yourself. Its just that I miss having someone to [i]be[/i] with, yaknow?

Yeah social anxiety can be a bitch. I was able to overcome it a lot in high school, but it's sort of re-manifested itself again in my later years. Socializing and being around people when you have that "my feet hurt I wanna go home and play video games" mental state can make it an exhausting experience.
I would just dip my toes in the water. Ask her out for coffee the next day shes off or available and go from there. It doesn't have to be at a party with 40 other people.

well the dicks we rent our hot water heater from are coming around tomorrow to look at it and see what happened
we [I]think[/I] that the bottom blew out and that's where it was leaking and if that's the case i don't know how they're going to fix it aside from completely replacing the whole tank and god knows how fucking long that's going to take
not to mention that my mom is suffering through a serious fucking cold right now and I have to look after our puppy so that's a lot of fucking stress on my part
