well one of the guys from the company we rent our water heater came today
i told him that we think that the bottom blew out of it and they're just gonna replace the whole tank and i [I]think[/I] he said that the replacement is free which is nice
they are going to have to replace the venting pipe tho, something about it not being white and up to code
they'll here wednesday and replace it but they'll try to get here sooner than that
i just want this fuckmess to get dealt with fast, i just want to have a shower damnit
If you're renting you shouldn't have to worry about any out of pocket expenses for interior/exterior repairs. Thats your landlords/Apartment Complex's responsibility.
If they start saying you need to cough up, get a second opinion. The only reason you ever pay for repairs is if you actually own the property.
