was playing subnautica with a map mod, starting to get over my fears of fucking everything in that game that isn't me, my base, or my seamoth
i made it all the way out to the bulb zone because the wiki said alien containment fragments would be there
they weren't
all that was there were angry sharks, angry eels, and very angry and very distant screams of a reaper
all aboard the nope train to fuck-that-ville, back to base where it's safe and dry and no one can hurt me
like fuck man, reapers have no business being that loud. i shouldn't be able to hear them half a biome over
i worked 25 hours this weekend and i'm really glad i don't have to work tomorrow

If you haven't tried going there already, I'd advise going to the dead zone and staying out there for a short period of time. If you think a reaper leviathan is scary enough to send you running, I can guarantee that what's out there will probably be far more terrifying just by the sound alone.
