You know what's even less fun?
The Chain Rule.
Nah, the quotient rule is less fun than that. The chain rule is simple and useful.
Hooray for calculus!
[/sarcasm]
This is my favorite thread.
3D Graphing is the best kind of math BTW.
[editline]08:38PM[/editline]
E^(Pi I) == E^(2 I Integrate[Sin[t]/t, {t, 0, Infinity}])
yeahhh
The probability of two independent events happening together is just the probability of each event multiplied together.
1+2=2... chem mathimatics =D

You will never forget it. EVER.
Lets do fun math!
x^(-1 * sqrt(-1)) makes an insanely pretty graph by the way.
Do shitty math and fun stuff here, I'm watching you.
Why would you take sqrt(-1)?
It's answer is -1i
pi = 3.141592654
Those are the only digits I remember.
Why would you take sqrt(-1)?

Cause it's fun
1/0=∞
Not true.
Why would you take sqrt(-1)?

Noo.
Not true.
Well it's quite that, the closer you go to 0 from right side it's going nearer infinity, from the left side it's going nearer -infinity

Sure,
a/x = ∞
x -> 0
lim
But it's not the same thing.
i = sqrt(-1)
i^2 = -1
i^3 = i^2 * i = -1*i = -i
i^4 = (i^2)^2 = 1
i^n = i^(n mod 4)
Complex numbers are awesome.
also d/dx (e^x) = e^x
HAHAHHA LOOK AT THIS!!! HAHAHAHa
0 divided by 0 = OOOOOOOHHHH SSHHHHIIIITTTT
HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHa
HAHAHHA LOOK AT THIS!!! HAHAHAHa

take x = 0
x/x = 1;
0/0 = 1;
What's so oh shit about that?
take x = 0
x/x = 1;
0/0 = 1;

x/x = 1
Where x ≠ 0
x/x = 1
Where x ≠ 0
Why is this so? i/i = 1, why can't 0/0 = 1?

Sorry, rated you bad spelling by accident
Why is this so? i/i = 1, why can't 0/0 = 1?
Since anything divided by 0 is undefined.
0/0 might aswell be 35 (0 * 35 = 0).
0 * x = 0
x can be anything.

No worries.
Following equation equals 0: (3x+1)(6-2y)-2(3-y)-6(3x-xy)
Following equation equals 0: (3x+1)(6-2y)-2(3-y)-6(3x-xy)
That's not even an equation, it's a polynomial. And its value can be anything since x and y are undefined.
Or do you mean:
(3x+1)(6-2y)-2(3-y)-6(3x-xy) = 0
?
Nah, the quotient rule is less fun than that. The chain rule is simple and useful.
Chain rule is piss easy compared to the quotient rule.
But the quotient rule isn't that difficult.
Chain rule is piss easy compared to the quotient rule.

No, just irritating to use.
No, just irritating to use.
Amen to that. All the answers from the exercise I was doing on it are all like a long string of variations on
(3/2(3x-3)^-1/2...) divided by whatever squared
etc.
Looks like an absolute bloody mess. And I thought the product rule was bad. :v:
Oh well, onto RATE OF CHANGE now. More calculus woo
