Nervous about tomorrow.
Well, Mets fans are a lot truer. The Yankees lose one season of baseball and half their "fans" find a different team. Bunch a :bandwagon: if you ask me.
Where did I mention the Yankees? I don't recall doing that. Plenty of fans jump ship like that, especially if it's with a team that happens to beat the Yanks. Everyone does it. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline] I also wouldn't go that far to say Mets fans are more true to their team. Plenty of Yankees fans are Yankess fans through and through, regardless of whether their team wins or loses.

Everyone does it.
Just saying, Mets fans are a lot more loyal than any other baseball season. Most major market teams have bandwagoners. Sure, the Mets lose one season after another, but we always go back thinking "Maybe, just maybe we might have a winning season". Also, the Subway Series (Mets/Yankees) starts tomorrow, so I'm constantly thinking about that as well. There's still more Yankees fans anyway, even if we strip away the bandwagon shit. That doesn't mean Mets fans are more loyal simply because there's less of them, or because their team loses more. A true fan is a true fan. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline] But I'll leave it at that. I haven't been watching baseball much for the past couple years anyway. Doesn't hold my interest like it used to. [editline]19th May 2011[/editline] I used to like taking trips down to the old Yankee Stadium, that was a lot of fun.
Aren't you in Germania, Z?
In other non-sport related news, I'm still waiting on my boss to give me my job schedule.. I'm guessing he didn't call since it was pretty shitty around here. Hopefully he calls tomorrow.
If it's your first day on the job, you'll do fine.
No, it's my first day seeing a psychologist.
Aren't you in Germania, Z?
Sure

Tolkien's literature. Fucking amazing.
And then wonder took him, and a great joy; and he cast his sword up in the sunlight and sang as he caught it. And all eyes followed his gaze, and behold! Upon the foremost ship a great standard broke, and the wind displayed it as she turned toward the Harlond. There flowered a White Tree, and that was for Gondor, but Seven Stars were about it, and a high crown above it, the signs of Elendil that no lord had borne for years beyond count. And the stars flamed in the sunlight, for they were wrought of gems by Arwen daughter of Elrond; and the crown was bright in the morning, for it was wrought of mithril and gold. Thus came Aragorn son of Arathorn, Elessar, Isildur's heir, out of the Paths of the Dead, borne upon a wind from the sea to the kingdom of Gondor; and the mirth of the Rohirrim was a torrent of laughter and a flashing of swords, and the joy and wonder of the City was a music of trumpets and a ringing of bells. But the hosts of Mordor were seized with bewilderment, and a great wizardry it seemed to them that their own ships should be filled with their foes; and a black dread fell on them, knowing that the tides of faith had turned against them, and their doom was at hand. East rode the knights of Dol Amroth driving the enemy before them: troll-men and Variags and orcs that hated the sunlight. South strode Eomer and men fled before his face, and they were caught between the hammer and the anvil. For now men leaped from the ships to the quays of the Harlond and swept north like a storm. There came Legolas, and Gimli wielding his axe, and Halbarad with the standard, and Elladan and Elrohir with stars on their brow, and the dour-handed Dunedain, Rangers of the North, leading a great valour of the folk of Lebennin and Lamedon and the fiefs of the South. But before all went Aragorn with the Flame of the West, Anduril like a new fire kindled, Narsil re-forged as deadly as of old: And upon his brow was the Star of Elendil.
So I just decided to get Fable 3. I think I literally just missed the time to preorder it because I clicked to buy it and it said it was unavailable. Nevermind v:smile:v
Tolkien's literature. Fucking amazing.
Come not between the Nazgul and his prey! Or he will not slay thee in thy turn. He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye.
I liked Fable 2. Really. The only issue I had with it was that once you beat the main story... well that's kinda it. Nothing else to do.
I've not played either fable 1 or 3 but I think fable 2's good fun
What's fable?
I've not played either fable 1 or 3 but I think fable 2's good fun
Fable 1 is great fun. I've played it more than most other games. I haven't played Fable 3 either though.
trololololoe

I don't spend hundreds of dollars on steam games and thousands on a gaming PC. I must be poor.
We don't take too kindly to yer type 'round here.
I don't spend hundreds of dollars on steam games and thousands on a gaming PC. I must be poor.
what does that have to do with your question about fable
I feel depressed. [editline]20th May 2011[/editline]
what does that have to do with your question about fable
nothing at all
I heard Fable was like Oblivion, except you actually age your character. Y/n?
I heard Fable was like Oblivion, except you actually age your character. Y/n?
y(in that your character ages), though it's nothing like any Elder Scrolls game
y, though it's nothing like any Elder Scrolls game
Well, it was the whole "Medieval Setting. You fight mythical creatures in a quest to defeat some sort of evil entity. You can also join guilds, take part in many side quests and own businesses" sort of scenario. I played a little bit of Oblivion before I got bored of it. Was interested in playing Fable 3, but never had the money.
