That's an average length for a film, what's the problem? Kind of your own fault.
Most movies I watch go for 60+ minutes, eh.
I hate how my country isn't a Democracy anymore. It's run by a big group of old men who only exist in the government to suit their personal agendas. The voter doesn't matter anymore. The only thing that the voters in our country do is keep a bunch of bickering corporate-backed men that just want to do their own things. The media just feels like pure propaganda. They're not broadcasting news, they're broadcasting opinions and lies. The corporations just own the propaganda machines, so they'll spew all of the lies that they can say to get the people they want reelected. You really think the politicians care about the issues of the people? All they care about is keeping themselves in power so they'll be able to be pawns of the top 2% and keep the cash flowing. Our government has failed us. And the worst thing is, nobody seems to care.
~someones been watching Carliiiin~
Me:So, let's have a check at my new TF2 replay... <One dislike, no likes> This is the case on EVERY SINGLE ONE of my videos. I can narrow it down to: A)A troll B)Some chav from school who can only tolerate E-comedy and CoD ~~~MEGAKIWKSOCPES~~~ C)Someone who actually thought it was sub par. At least fucking tell me why you thought it was bad, you fuck. Vid in question if you really want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1k0i2AuwyxA Could also disable the like bar on my videos...
she said no. fuck lief.
Now you can watch and enjoy as nothing happens and then not be as nervous about asking girls out or it could all go to shit but probably not
people that think they're 100% underground and cool because they are drunk bastards and listen to dubstep
While you guys are struggling with one girl, i've given up on one girl and now have several 'special' friends :v:
When people complain, whine and make excuses when they're relatively well off. And by relatively well off, I mean have access to food, water, shelter and the god-damn internet. -Really Long Story/Rant- I've run into people who were trapped in the Air Force's 319th Med-Hold Squadron (which is where you get sent if you're severely sick/injured during basic training), basically pissing time and waiting for doctor's appointments or paperwork (which can take upwards of 6 months if you get med-boarded). Fun note? In the 319th, you still get treated like a trainee, which is worse than dirt. You still wake up at 4:45AM and set up an entire dormitory to OCD standards (dust, hair and lint are all unauthorized items, and thus demerits). Mind you, most of these people are crippled: Stress fractures, mental issues, asthma and various sicknesses. Some of them even have the potential to die or lose the function in a limb. And you know what? Most of them had fuckin' great attitudes. The most motivating guy I knew had bone degeneration to the extent that his right leg was about as bad as someone who was seventy. His wife died just before he joined Basic Training. His fuckin' only kid had bronchitis and was going to the hospital while he was literally stuck at this squadron (you can't just get up and leave, hell no. That's called going AWOL and is a fuckin' huge crime). Now this same guy, with all this shit happening to him? He was motivated and inspirational as fuck. Did all his shit early and perfectly. Still worked out. Helped everyone anytime he could. Never had a god damn excuse for anything. He had a plan for when he was going to get out, where he was going to go and what he would say to his kid. And while I'm there, trying to figure out what the fuck was wrong with me (exercise-induced asthma if you're wondering, minor as fuck, but disqualifying with no chance of getting a waiver), this guy is getting ready to go home. His paperwork is almost done after two months. And they lose it. Time to start all fuckin' over again. His attitude? Still great, even if a tiny bit frustrated. A week later, they figure out where it went (his tech school) and arrange to send it back to our base. What happens? It gets lost in transit. Does he throw a fit or have a breakdown? Hell no. He sucks in his gut and keeps acting as he usually does. About a week before I leave, I was talking to him and he let me in on an crazy fact. The doctor on squadron who he was seeing, a medium-high ranking officer, was so fed up with the paperwork getting lost that he just forged the documents and got my friend out. So the guy's back home now, probably with a good job, his 100k house and his loving child. And what do I still see when I come home? People on the internet with mommy and daddy issues, or social problems, complaining about how rough and hard they're life is. Get over yourself. Hundreds of thousands of people die each day because they don't have access to clean water or food, and you're bitching about your emotions? Really? /rant Don't let my story scare you either, Basic Training is really a blast and a great life experience. If I had it my way, I'd put almost all of today's youth through it. I've seen people go in as total tools, obnoxious and selfish jerks; and then get transformed into dignified, respectable men with actual pride in their spine. In treating you like the lowest of the low, you learn to be humble and keep your head held high at all times.
This kid in theater class is so fucking annoying, but today I got a sort of vengeance (well kinda okay not at all) today was a good day though, got to skip half the classes (the ones I got to skip were the ones I hate too!) because we're getting out early, and rather than shorten periods we just cut half of them. I had to go to theater though, which I hate. Although we didn't do work. I just flat out told the guy in a happy tone that he's a dumb douchebag since I've been wanting to for weeks. He responded by going "Well...yeah I kinda am" AND I WENT ON MY WAY I'm on the bus now and nothing can ruin this day dammit NOTHING
yer im not too botherd sandman. just pissed i left it this long.
Rant
That's all inspirational and whatnot, but if you really think that people aren't allowed to be mad at things because others have it worse then I'm afraid you're stupid.
I swear that about a third of the content posted here could fit just as well in the 'Shit that gets you sad' thread. Regardless, it gets me mad and sad to read. Half the stuff in here is outright ridiculous.

Anyway, there's some truth to the fact that people bitching about their emotions while they have clean water, food and internet is a bit pathetic, but they wouldn't know how life would be when you're poor and have no food or clean water.

What type of earring is that, a pearl or something? Who in their straight mind would wear an earring like that.
Is that earring on the gay ear?
that whole earring thing always annoyed me
everyone is a pussy deep down film. he would never have fought you over something so trivial, i bet he was shitting himself as he mouthed off.
I remember some guy in my school punched a fat guy in the stomach for scooping his girlfriend. He got sucked in and nobody has seen him since. You have every right to be scared of fat people.
oh my fucking god. Nothing in this world pisses me off more than fucking kids dealing drugs in school. Every fucking day these idiots in one of my classes are dealing drugs (nothing big like coke or meth, just petty shit like spice, weed, or pills). One day if i get pissed enough i'm gonna knock the shit out of their hands and punch them in the face.
That's all inspirational and whatnot, but if you really think that people aren't allowed to be mad at things because others have it worse then I'm afraid you're stupid.
I'm not saying that they're not allowed. This is less of a case of "My girlfriend was cheating on me, shit sucks" and more a case of "My parents won't by me the new Call of Duty game, my life is so horrible." People can be mad and sad all they want. I'm a pretty angry person at times; just never loop it around to commenting how bad your life is.
Having to take math. I don't need anything beyond basic math and maybe one or two algebraic equations in my major/career.
I remember last year, these two dumb asses were stupid enough to smoke pot in one of the storage rooms where the vents circulated the smell of the smoke to half of the building. They both got caught while they were high.

[editline]30th September 2011[/editline]
FUCK. Well, just spent 2 weeks waiting for a Playstation 2 to arrive. I finally get it, memory card, LOTR: The Two Towers and Kingdom Hearts. I'm ready for some nostalgia. The fucking thing doesn't read even detect that discs are in it or controllers, so it's fucking useless. Jesus, I'm pissed.
How much did it cost and where did you order it?
How it's going to cost so much to visit my friend in France for 3 days. damn you euro star.
Just a relative, but holy shit, I had to keep the entire thing a secret as well because my stepfuhrer says that I can't own more than one gaming system for reasons he can't explain. Took me two weeks to get it. Came with games, cords, memory card and a controller. Was ready for a Kingdom Hearts binge.
Wow, he sounds like a complete fucking asshole. Kingdom Hearts was one of the best games on the PS2. (along with the Dragonball Z Budokai/Budokai Tenkaichi series, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses)
wait a fucking second
my stepfuhrer
i see what you did there
Ghost pages. [editline]30th September 2011[/editline] oh wow, the irony
Do these people expect us to feel god damn remorse for them? Especially when they neglect to tell us the person.
Showed "Psycho" to the class today. "It was boring. If it was in color, it'd be a lot better." Why does that matter at all?
Because to a lot of people, colorless films are rather dull and boring, i suppose.
Showed "Psycho" to the class today. "It was boring. If it was in color, it'd be a lot better." Why does that matter at all?
It's because all people look for in films nowadays is fancy CGI and explosions instead of gripping plots, clever directing and production and real, genuine quality. All of which Psycho has and much more. Directors have delved WAY too much into comfort zones in the last 5-10 years. There's been hardly any properly fantastic films made and pretty much no genuine masterpieces. With directors who are little more than competent like Speilberg taking the wheel of the industry, it's no real surprise I guess. Plus the fact that it's more of a money making machine than an entertainment producing industry. They've found formulae that work and they're just sticking to them Ah well, at least I'll always have the 50's and 60's
