You're so interesting, nice, and treated unfairly. I whole-heartedly cannot wait for the stories to turn a lighter tone, for you to be out of that shithole, to be happy. Jesus christ man you're amazing.
Seriously? I'm almost detecting sarcasm. If not, it's great hearing such positive feedback; that's honestly one of the best things anyone has ever said to me. Thank you so much!
I agree with him, your stories are really interesting to read.
Kick him in the crotch and then knee his faggoty face inwards. That'll shut him up.
All beating someone up in school will do is piss them off and cause them to come back but with all of their friends backing them up.
Everybody loves FilmSlacker.
All the fucking spelling errors/grammar mistakes/word misuse on facebook. Actual quotes: "Austin powers never seizes to amaze me" and "Your amazing." I'm sure there's a fuckload more where that came from.
When you play the drums after a year away, having awesome ideas in your head for beats, only to ending up being too bad at the time to make any of them a reality.

I love her to death and she's the bestest (intentionalmisspell) friend I could have since she understand some of my problems better then anyone else but sometimes... Just... urgh. And she writes this kind of stuff on Facebook that I KNOW you all hate: "People Dont Understand That I Could CARELESS Im A Indepenent Chick Im Dont Need Anyone" Though the Talking Like This thing isn't her fault, her shitty phone does it and she doesn't really have her own computer so her phone is her primary communication. She usually spells way worse then this but... Phone auto correct. If I got to see her more often I'd try to help with her spelling but she lives in South Carolina and I live in Ohio... She used to live right down my street. :smith: Another thing that gets me mad is distances. If it weren't for her racist, mean, bitchy-ass grandmother she wouldn'tve moved so far away. And I don't ever really get to see her anymore because well... She's growing up and so am I.
I hate people who are dicks to me, like saying I owe them money I will not pay because: 1. you're a fucking asshole, screw off. 2. I don't have money, I'm broke. Telling me to pay it off now won't make it appear in my wallet. Shoot them all and give me my diploma. I'm done with people stepping all over me.
AP U.S. History, and the world in general. Fucking holy shit. AP (advanced placement) classes are meant to be like college course classes and stuff. I got chosen to be in this class because i got an 86 on the Global regents (which is a really fucking good score for the regents), and I did well in my Global class. Now I have a shit load of homework to do, and when I discussed dropping the class, my parents flipped a shit and said my future will be horrible. Whenever I think about this, I start thinking about the world and the system in general. Now, here's the thing. I'm not a hard worker. Whenever I tell people that, they tell me to change it, and they tell me that it's on me to not be lazy and blah blah blah. I've tried changing it. I just can't find motivation to do something I don't wanna do. Yeah I know the world doesn't work like that, but being realistic, in the modern world I won't have to do homework or long essays, especially not if I successfully get into acting like i want to do. And by acting, I'm not talking Hollywood or some little kid shit, I wouldn't mind doing shows off-Broadway, as long as i get paid doing what I like doing. (And even if I don't get paid too much for it, who cares? It'd be like teaching. Teachers do what they do because they like doing it, and they don't get paid a lot for it (even though some of them are miserable assholes)). Anyways, back to the point (kinda. I'm going off on a tangent): I'm lazy and AP gives me a LOT of work. And not just any work. HARD work. The type of hard work where it's work I don't even like doing. I like to relate things to the hard work I had to do for a semi-professional play I did last year. I had to remember all my lines for a lead role in a giant SHAKESPEARE script. That was hard work. That was difficult, but in the end, I did it. I did it because I knew that it'd be a fun. And it was. I liked doing it, and I was good at it. People think that just because I'm 16 I don't understand what the real world is. In the "real world", I understand that I'm not going to be very known. You know what? I'm cool with that. I'm not looking to cure cancer or end world hunger. The purpose of this so-called real world is to make money. If you can do that while doing what you like doing, then you're successful, even if only in your own eyes. Let's say I don't do what I like doing. Making money is really the only thing I need to watch out for. People encourage their kids to get good jobs by staying in school and be their own boss. In reality, that's probably the hardest thing you can do. They make it seem like you can do that right off the bat with a fancy degree and education. Just because I have all those things doesn't mean I'm going to get a super-amazing job right off the bat. Will it increase my chances? Yes, definitely. That doesn't mean I'm going to get the job I think I'm going to get. No matter what, you're likely to start all the way at thew bottom, unless your parents are super rich. Why do you think children who have rich parents need less schooling than those who don't have rich parents? It's unfair, but it's the harsh truth. Education means a lot less than money. Don't get me wrong, I will go to college (probably) and I'm going to finish high school. And I'm definitely going to get a job. This doesn't mean I'm getting a super-amazing job. I already know myself, and I can't change myself. No matter how hard I try I can't be a better person than I already am, and I'm fine with that. People will ask me how can I be so happy with being myself, and I don't have a good answer. I just am. I'm sorry if me being perfectly ok with who I am offends you or makes you think less of me, but I can't bring myself to care. I know this all seems like I'm saying I'm ok with eventually becoming a loser, but I never said I'm going to become a loser. No matter who tries to tell me that. With the way I was raised and how I am right now, and with the education I'm likely to receive, I can get a job. Will it pay a lot? Who knows. Will I get to do what i like doing? I'm not counting on it. If it is, then great, if it isn't, well then that's just the world. I don't really know what I'm trying to say any more, but I'm guessing it's this: I understand the real world better than most. This is why I don't really have a dream, but more of a goal. Because dreams, in this world, are shattered. I am aware of the fact that the world works way differently than "lol i'm going to follow my dreams and do what i want". [editline]4th October 2011[/editline]
Everybody loves FilmSlacker.
It's like following a reality show. Through text form. It's like following a text-based reality show. The series finale is his last day in the town. I will be crying over how happy I am for him.
I hate being rudely awakened on a Saturday morning by a phone call. Let me sleep damnit
*Long but interesting post*
AP classes are indeed a pain. I agree also with the fact that it's much better to get a job that you enjoy doing and getting less pay than a job that you would hate doing, but has a better salary. Keep being who you are. Life's short and being able to conform to people's expectations (like your parents) 100% of the time is just not gonna happen. Do what you enjoy, as long as it has some sort of pay.
Whenever I see someone facing me with a flashlight on in the BF3 Beta, I feel like raging, cause I can't see what's in front of me when it happens. So annoying.
unlocking BETTER weapons in a game. Like, not in TF2 where the standard weapons can be better than those which you can unlock.
Kind of like the laser in Contra?
The laser is more of a power-up, not an unlockable. But I guess that's the same idea.
How my friend doesn't believe my horrible lifestyle.
How people don't realize that your social status in high school is going to have literally no effect on the rest of your life whatsoever.
How apparently at my school working at a Gamestop is fucking horrible. It can apparently be used as an insult too. After a friend said something about a game, someone else said "Wow you're probably gonna work at gamestop." I want to work there :(
Kind of like the laser in Contra?
no, kind of like in multiplayer games. like cod and the like. in single player it's understandable because you progress through levels and as the levels get harder, so do your weapons. in multiplayer there's no real advancement aside from dealing with different players of different skill levels. That be pretty cool to get money selling games. Although i heard Gamestop is just as bad to it's customers as it is to its employees.
I wanna work at a Gamestop. That be pretty cool to get money selling games. Although i heard Gamestop is just as bad to it's customers as it is to its employees.
I mostly just wanna work there in high school and until I can get a better job.
I mostly just wanna work there in high school and until I can get a better job.
Oh, same here. But I heard it has pretty shitty conditions depending on which one you work at.
I mostly just wanna work there in high school and until I can get a better job.
Same. I need some money fast.
Oh, same here. But I heard it has pretty shitty conditions depending on which one you work at.
I might as well still apply, there's nowhere else in my town that I'd really like to work.
I hate dumb shits like them: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/fuckpunch
If EB Games wasn't an hour away, I'd want to work there. It's pretty hard to find a job here, though. Very little people, but nearly all of them want a job.
Did Gamestop buy EB Games? Because we used to have an EB Games buy they got replaced by Gamestop.
Must be a different story in Canada, or at least Nova Scotia. There's several EB Games here, just not within my boundaries. The nearest one is, like I said, an hour away. I don't go there anymore though. They hate me for speaking my mind. My Playstation 2 didn't work anymore, so my stepfather made me sell all the games and accessories. (3 controllers, memory card and 20+ games). I ended up with $15 in store credit, even though Kingdom Hearts 2 (which was BRAND NEW at the time) was included and was only played once. I asked how much store credit JUST Kingdom Hearts 2 took up. "About $3" WHAT???
I tried selling my old copy of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and they said it was worth $7. Honestly, I remember seeing them sell games like Zelda: Twilight Princess for over $50 a few months ago. What cheapskates.
When people drive really quickly up to stop signs, making it seem like they're going to gun it into the road or my car.
