Ravenholm in HL2 The tunnels in HL2:EP1
Fear 1.
Half life 1- when my uncle pirated it for me about a 1-3 years after it came out, I was young and when I went to the part with the surface tension, I was where the icky was, and I got scared when it came at me in the water, so I swam to the top and sprayed all of my bullets out on it. also afraid of monsters, those damn heads move everywhere man!
The first time I ever played Doom 3...in my pitch black room...with surround sound. I was young, and that kind of stuff scared me real easy. But the only other one that scared me recently is F.E.A.R. 1, when your in the offices and the phone rings, so you naturally want to look and Alma comes at you doing that weird crawl. FarCry Instincts only creeps me out at the swamps cause those things that run at you and explode doing that horrible sounding scream.
it's always condemned for me
Ravenholm in HL2 The tunnels in HL2:EP1
Also this. I forgot all about that. On my first playthrough of HL2, when I reached Ravenholm and got ambushed by that first zombie, I just quit the game and went on to play EP1 instead. I had no clue what was going on because I didn't finish HL2 so I decided to go through Ravenholm anyway.
First walking into Ravenholm in HL2, and of course Silent Hill.
Doom 3
I've never been scared of a video game! </blatant lie> Ok, so about the Prison level... I was just minding my own business, right? Playing some Silent Hill, scoping out the bathrooms, you know... Like any normal woman, I was holding my tube of cookie dough between my boobs (aka, nature's cupholder). So I was just leaving one of the bathroom areas and this HUGE bang, like wood colliding on wood came the fuck out of nowhere. So naturally, I freaked the fuck out; and somehow, my breasticles pressed together and cookie dough jizzed out. That was my reaction. What games scare you to death...and what was YOUR reaction? Also, I smelled delicious for hours.
I was really close to getting a boner from that.
Alien vs predator
That game scares the living crap out of you.
When I first got Garry's Mod, I spawned an Antlion guard in a lake in one of the maps. Thinking nothing off it, I went to the edge of the water, and before I know, the giant thing fucking jumps me (I couldn't see it coming, since I wasn't looking in the lake). I literally kicked myself to the other end of my room. I remember the paranoia I had after that. I couldn't look behind me in fear of seeing one of those attacking me...

Return to castle wolfenstein. I was like, 7 when I was playing it. Went down into the catacombs. Scared shitless, stopped playing at the first zombie thing I saw and never played it again til I was like 13. Now I really love that game, but at the time I was too scared to even touch it for what, 6 years?
bioshock isnt scary, dead space isnt scary, Ravonholm was DEFINANTLY not scary -Snip- Now these fuckers
Resident Evil 4?
Towards the end of Silent Hill 2 when you try to go up to the third floor of the Lakeview Hotel and it's blocked off by a gate. When you turn around to go back down you hear a distant call of "James!", which sounds almost exactly like Mary's voice....who is dead. The fact that it's extremely silent when this happens and because it sounded far away like it was coming from within room 312 scared the living shit out of me. That's the only game I've ever played where I was glad that half of the doors were locked! :ohdear:
