JohnnyMo1 answered the question in the first page. 1/0 is undefined, however the limit of 1/x as x goes to 0 = infinity. There is a vertical asymptote at x=0.
ITT: Too many people answering using logic instead of mathematical fact. His original question is of calculus grade, if you haven't taken it you shouldn't be answering as you will confuse him and screw up his studies.
It's not even logic. If it were logical, it would probably be correct since math is just a numerical extension of logic. Lots of people are just babbling nonsense.
Case in point:
finite = something that you can point to. something that is ONE thing. IE 1.
infinite = not ^^; something that has no viewable state. An unknown.
prefex in = not.
So using some English. you know it is not infinite. because infinite, while non tangible, is still existent.
When you divide by zero, you effectively make everything that is divided, into nothing. But it still exist. So it is not infinite because it does not exist yet still exist. The state is infinite, yet the actual object is not.
Ya, I changed it before you posted that. I just my finished Calculus examine on wednesday :D. I got a 94. (Finally finished, was doing 3-4 hours of work every night.)

The fuck? You do not nee to take calc to understand this. I have not even had pre calc and know how to answer this.

You clearly do not. Your posts so far have made next to no sense.

I'm sorry, but you cannot just figure this stuff out using English. There is a division between Math and English for a reason. The most English I ever used to solve something in math was the proof for Rolle's Theorem when you are working without a constant.
Not how it works.
Could possibly work he'd have infinite groups just one would have 9 eggs and the rest would have none...
Me.

Quit arguing about some fuckin' numbers. There's no point to dividing by zero. Is it going to help/hurt you? No. There is no reason to divide by zero so stop arguing about it.
