dudes, in an infinite universe, the same occurance happened an infinite number of times.
so ofcourse life happened more than one place.
I believe in aliens, but not that they are flying around in UFO's, checking on us, I simply believe that somewhere in the universe a planet (or several) must have intelligent or unintelligent life.

Assuming the universe is infinite, of course.

Even if it isn't infinite there's still going to be life out there.
I think it stupid to not. To think that this one tiny speck is the only thing to contain living things is complete and utter ignorance. Nothing less. There are millions and millions of galaxies, likely billions upon billions of planets. There is absolutely no way that we are the only planet that can sustain life.
maybe we were planted here?
if most life in the universe originates from the same gene pool we might have less problems getting along, or more..
Heck, if that is true the extermination of the ancient reptillian creatures we call "dinosaurs" might have been an intentional act to speed up our evolution.
But thats more theory than anything else, yet still more probable than god.
Obviously, when our worthless little planet dies out, and only small and medium-sized plants remain; one little alien empire will find our destroyed bones, fill out the ecosystem... and then proceed to blow our star system up.

that is if we havent invaded their worlds, killed their children, consumed their resources and moved on yet.

[/U] You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize we're not the only intelligent life from.
